Whenever an area starts to itch, it will have a red color on that area (Is it called rash?) with no visible bumps. This has been going on for 11 weeks now. The itch is not severe, it feels just like a mosquito bite. Sometimes there are signs of insect bites, but mostly it is just a plain rash. I should note that this happens right after I received a sensual massage from a woman I do not know. My status is STD-clean after that exposure. Could this be caused by my own emotions?
I have had itchy skin since 2011. My skin itches so badly that when i scratch, i get spots on it and there is this yellowish fluid that comes out of my spots in about 15 minutes later. The most uncomfortable is that when I am asleep, my skin itches so badly and the most annoying of it is that, it happens at my back!!! where my hands cant reach so i can scratch.
They can definitely provide relief for a small localized rash like that very effectively/reliably. It's not necessary to needlessly suffer, there is relief available, ergo --> git 'r dun.
Hi, I've been experiencing a condition where I will get red splotches that itch on my face (almost exclusively the forehead), neck, or scalp. This may occur when I am outside in warm sunny weather (above 75 degrees Fahrenheit), exercising, or somehow embarrassed (not nervous). The sensation can best be described as a prickly sensation that lasts for about 1-2 minutes, though the red splotches may persist longer.
i'm 16 and i just recently got this rash on my penis and idk if its herpes or what i've never had sex or anything like that so i don't know what it can be .
It's to the point where just cool water will turn my face red and tight. Do you know of any internal conditions that include twitching and headaches that could also effect the skin this way? I have a really high ANA test also. I got tested for Lupus a year ago do you think I should get tested again for it or another autoimmune disease? I just don't know where to go or what to do.
On thursday night of that week i was having trouble sleeping because of an itch/pain just below the head of the penis below the foreskin. The friday morning i woke up with a red rash and what seemed like 100s of red pinprick dots on one side where i sed i felt the itch. Since then it doesn't seem to have got any worse exept for the fact it still itches alot and a very thin layer of skin seems to have come away slightly leaving a patch of new skin (like the remenance of a blister).
But everytime I go I get a rash that itches like crazy, it is major red, and spread from my neck to my thighs. I tried Cortizone cream, but as soon as i even touch the skin, I cant stop rubbing it and scratching it. I was wondering I i am just not suppose to tan or if there is certain lotion I am suppose to use. The rash usually only last a couple days but this one has lasted over a week. I cant handle it anymore. Can you help me out please?

My 9 year old has a flat, blotchy, red rash on her lower stomach, upper thighs and feet. It itches. I thought it was 5ths disease, but she does not have it on her face or any other part of her torso. We have not been outside or anywhere that she could pick up a "poison" rash. Any suggestions?

Sometimes it gets better (goes away) but usually it itches. Worse at night. No red spots, rashes, etc. I have not changed detergents, etc, either since this started so I don't think that is the issue. Any ideas? Also, should I first see a dermatologist, or should I see a GP first instead? Thank you!

Hi, This could be a fungal infection of the skin folds in between the toes called Athlete's foot. It is a common name given to a fungus infection of the skin that predominately occurs in between toes but can occur anywhere on the foot. The skin involved may be red, swollen and may contain sticky fluid. Patients may also experience a scaly dry rash on the bottom and sides of feet. Cracks or "fissures" can occur between the toes, sometimes with a accompanied soft white scale.
No it isn't. Possible a sweat rash fungal infection. Recommend showing a doctor.
Sometimes when I start my preiod I get extremely irritated down there and I don't know what it is, but it itches and if I scratch it starts to burn. I just figured that the moisture that is held in by my pad irritates me is that the case or is it something other that I should be worried about?

Hello, It can be due to hives. Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. Also wear cotton clothes and apply good quality moisturizers.
