rash

I have this red rash looking thing on my face and neck with tiny red bumps. It itches at times (at least every other day if not daily) and feels rough. I have been to different dermatologists and they each have diagnosed me with something different. It looks close to a dermatitis or eczema, but not completely from looking at pictures online, but I am not sure. I have had it for awhile and it does not seem to go away.
Hi there, I have been a chronic flusher for years. I get a red blotchy anxiety rash on my neck & chest area when nervous or anxious. I have tried many vitamins & herbs to help this & nothing has really stopped the rash completely except beta blockers. Good luck!
I'd have to check with my doc to see if it was one of the many things discounted though looking at the rash pictures I doubt it - also from what I've read so far it doesn't seem to cause lesions in the brain. My rash usually alway starts in the neck with raised bumps that continue down my spine and then eventually spreads outward covering the rest of my torso. From there my neck bumps morph into welts that eventually just smooth out though stay red.
I have only been on triple therapy for 1 week and I have a rash on my neck and chest area. I know you can get a rash with incivek and riba so not unusual I guess. It started red and now has bumps. Doesn't itch and probably don't need to be concerned. My nurse said just put hydrocortisone on it and keep an eye on it to see if travels down my trunk. If so call back. While I trust my nurse I would feel better if I could hear from those of you who had the rash.
Dear Doctors, I have this very mysterious rash all over my abdomen and my neck. I had suspected it was from wearing my gold necklace day in day out, but when I took off my necklace for a month, the rash was still there and started appearing on my chest and back. I have seen the doctor twice, but I still have the rash. Doctors have prescribed me Hydroval .2% cream the first time and now I am currently testing "Fucidin H Cream".
Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and sometimes by itching. I suggest you to get an examination done from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist.
Can anyone help - I have a raised, sore, itchy rash around the front of my neck. Dr said it is a skin infection and so on antibiotics, but each night my eyes swell, my lips are sore and my neck drives me mad with being so itchy.

I am a 41 year old female. I have adult onset diabetes (NOT under control - running about 180 after fasting), high Blood pressure (under control with Lisinopril) depression, (under control with Amitriptyline) I've never had a problem with acne. I've also never been good at sticking to a daily cleansing of my face. (I've used Mary Kay, Avon, etc but never stuck to it) I've pretty much always just used hot water in the shower. No soap, nothing. This is the first time that I have had any problems.
I have a red splotchy rash over most of my body, it mostly covers my torso. It never goes on to my hands or lower legs or face or head. It only goes as high as my neck. It causes my joints to stiffen up and is very warm to the touch but it is not a fever. I have been getting this rash more frequently, about once every couple months. It goes away in about 2-4 days. I have used some chinese herbal teas and that has taken the lifespan of the rash down to about 1-2 days.
Week 7 of Treament: Tiny Bumps of Red Raised, Hyper Sensitive, Painful Itchy Rash on Torso, Shoulders . No sores in mouth or anywhere else. I have tried antibiotic cream, hydrocortisone cream and benadryl. I was in the sun for a very short walk a couple of weeks ago and wore sunscreen, my neckline dipped a little in front but my back was covered, I have been pretty careful not to be in the sun, I don't think this is a sun reaction. This is about a week old, spreading.
For the last 20 years I have gotten small red bumps on the sides of my fingers. They don't blister. They start out as one or two and then I might get a few more and they seem to cluster up on only the sides of my fingers. They are not itchy but they are sore to the touch when you run your finger over them. It feels like you have a splinter. They are slightly raised and red in color. They will stay for varying lengths of time and then dry up and go away.
The next day I woke up with body aches on all my muscles, mainly my upper body and neck, as If I had a hard workout at the gym. That same day I saw red blotches near my mouth (pics at end of post), then today they have started itching. I have had HSV-1 for years now, very rarely do I have outbreaks, last one must have been more than a year ago, and they have never looked like this, usually they are cuts on the side of my mouth never have been rashes.
6 weeks ago my 12 year old daughter woke up with what looked like a rug burn on her cheek. The next morning, there was another spot on her other cheek. Basically, for 6 weeks her face keeps getting new spots. We have seen 2 peditricians and 2 dermatologists. They do not know what it is. She was on Keflex for 10 days, Duricef for 10 days and Cipro for 10 days. We have been using Bactroban ointment continuously until this week when we started using Altabax ointment. Still, no improvement.
Here goes, my question, I had around 12 - 15 red painless non ithcy red bumos on my upper back, and some really small light red bumps as well. they were on my upper back, and sides of my middle back. It has been about a moth since I saw them first, and still can see some marks of them, but they have gone most of them, also some new ones appeared, maybe 2 or 3, 3 of them appeared om one sied of my trunk. My question is, can this be considered a rash? Could this be ARS related?
I have been to the dermatologist, had skin tests done etc. The rash is tiny itchy red bumps, only on my face. They seem to have clear fluid inside, but are very tiny. They sort of rise to the surface a bit red, they itch, then when I scratch them, the fluid comes out and they sort of go away. THe doctor said they are not hives and that it is a contact dermatitis. I am only using products I know I am not sensitive to from the patch tests that were done.
It is blotchy on my arms and chest and more so on my upper back. My neck and face are the worst! I now use cetaphil soap and lotion. No soap on my face though, just water. I cooled the water temp down but that didn't help. I am allergic to the cold; I break out in hives. Am I allergic to the heat now too or the water? And if yes, then why is the rash only in those areas mentioned? I have pictures to post but I don't know how.
They look like pimples that are bright red on periphery with white head in center. Occur on face, neck and upper trunk. They itch like hives. He had myocarditis of unknown origin when he was 21 and I am extremely concerned about these rashes. No one seems to understand my concerns about just letting these run their course. He had heart damage from the myocarditis and iI am extremely concerned with these rashes spreading to any vital organs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am now beginning to break out in some sort of rash on my chest. Looks like a bunch of pimples, but I don't have any reason to be breaking out. That's about all I can say what the rash looks like, is scattered zits on my chest. Not itchy or sore in any way, just red spots that I noticed after a shower. Thought it might just be from the shower, but 3-4 hours later still there. Have been noticing them for about 3 days now.
Have a Dermatologist or your GP submit a punch biopsy to the lab to review for fungal infections too. I suffered for the past year with a rash-like infection that 22 different types of doctors could not identify. The rash began with small bumps on the thighs, fevers, strange looking hairs on my scalp, legs, arms, chin, eyebrows and eye lashes. The bumps turned into ulcers which would not heal even though I was prescribed 10 different anti-bacterial antibiotics over the past year.
Now she had little raised fair red bumps all over her neck back and legs. Also a pale scaley rash on her neck area.. She has a couple red areas that look like welts/mosquito markings on leg. NOTE: my mom is a moderate hoarder. Two Shizu little dogs and four cats.. One she just rescued from neglect. The animals urinated all over our clothes when we first came here (washed immediately afterwords) and there is animal urine and feces throughout the house..
About a week before I finished Incivek (so about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago) I got a real bad rash on my forearms. It was bright red, raised (like hives almost), and confluent. It kept getting worse and my thighs got it too as well as my abdomen. I finished Incivek on Sunday, 12/18. I started taking more benadryl. By Friday Dec. 23, neither the hydrocortisone nor the benadryl was helping. It was spreading and itching constantly. It looked like the moderate rash on this site: http://www.incivek.
Hydroxyzine 50 mg every 6 hours (it has to be a large enough dose to work well) Fluocinonide ointment topically to rash Clobetesol solution to rash on scalp For me it was the Hydroxyzine that really turned the tables and got the rash under control. The topicals help and I use them, but they work only where you put them, and then the rash just moves next door. The Hydroxyzine oral tabs work systemically (and this is a systemic drug reaction). The rash could be from the Ribavirvin.
A little over a year ago I got a rash on my penis. After a week it didn't go away and I made a doctor appointment. I have been in a healthy relationship for more then 6 years so I knew it was not an STD. Regardless I went to my doctor and had blood work done. Tests came back clean for any and all STD's. He wanted me to see a dermatologist. Before I made the appointment the rash went away. It did leave minor scaring. I never went to the dermatologist.
Over the past 3-4 months I noticed the rash was now on the sides of my neck and for quite some time thought it was an allergic reaction because some days you cannot barely see it (if at all) and others it looks more like welts (paintball welts if you've ever seen them - very circular and red). As of about 2-3 months ago the rash has now been spreading across my chest and is taking on many different sizes.
I have had a "rash" on my jawline and neck for over 9 months. It is constantly hot and bright red. It becomes itchy if I let my facial hair grow at all. It started shortly after taking Synthriod. I also started with severe Rosacea around that time. I stopped taking Synthriod. Rosacea has become a bit better - Rash still bad. The rash has spread considerably in last 6 months. It is greatly affected by heat, cold wind, shaving, any rubbing or touching, etc.
