For the last 2 weeks I have had a red rash appear on my face after showering or shaving. It starts out as a tingling feeling that develops into a red rash on my forehead, cheeks. and neck (some areas on my face will have one or two small raised marks that appear to look like scratches). I will also have a red mark in the middle of my chest. This rash will last up to 20 to 30 minutes and then dissapear. It starts out as a tingling feeling that ends up itching and burning(like a sun burn).
My 3 year old has developed a red rash on her face and red bumps on her neck, chest, hand, bend of her knees, and the doctor is only saying it could be our new cat, but we have had cats in and out of our lives since she was 1 so i dont think that is it. Does anyone have any other suggestions? We have not changed our soap dterergant no new foods or anything like that either.
My wife has developed a red rash on her face about six months ago. Her dermatologist told her that he doesn't think it rosacea because it doesn't flare up but doesn't say what else it could be. We really need to figure out what is causing this. She does take quite a few medications and she does seem to have allergies. The rash also appears around her ears. She also says that her neck itches but I can't see any rash there. Please help.
My mother has been suffering for a few years now from a strange type of red rash that flares up every so often. The rash appears on the side of her face, below her ear and extends towards her jaw. It's very painful and she sometimes winces as it seems to throb. Her face is swollen in the area. Initially she was treated for rosacea but the doctor no longer thinks it is. She was given hydrocortizone cream which helps a little bit.
I have this red rash looking thing on my face and neck with tiny red bumps. It itches at times (at least every other day if not daily) and feels rough. I have been to different dermatologists and they each have diagnosed me with something different. It looks close to a dermatitis or eczema, but not completely from looking at pictures online, but I am not sure. I have had it for awhile and it does not seem to go away.
It then escalated to a red blotchy rash on my neck and some parts of my face. In addition to those areas, now I have redness and some swelling around both eyes. I have been to the dermatologist many times. At one point, she biopsied one of the spots on my arms and said it was contact dermatitis. I had a patch test done and was told I am allergic to thimerasol. However, no products I have in my home have that ingredient.

I have had a strange rash on my face and neck, mainly around the beard area. It started last week, so I decided to shave to let some air get the area, but it doesn't seem to be improving. I have linked to a picture here (hopefully it will work). If you look closely you can see a lot of small bumps, which aren't red, along with more obvious red bumps. I look forward to your reply. Thanks.
It started with itching-like dry skin. Then I would get the itching on my face and my face and neck literally were red with swelling. I tried rosacia creams and anything to sooth my actually "hot"skin. I eventually called the doctor with probably my 3rd breakout in 5 months-The doctor was stumped. He put me on a steroid, antibiotic and bedadryl (interveniously to start) and it cleared up.
on some occasions, and I dont know what causes it, when I drink (and it seems particularly with wine) I get a deep red face and a red rash on my upper chest area (actually mor the neck area and into the chest) I go years without this happening...then it suddenly seems to happen. I am a heavy drinker too...maybe an alcoholic, I dont know...I can give it up for lent or whenever I start a good long term relationship.

For a few years now, I've been getting a red blotchy chest/neck rash in circumstances where I - am drinking alcohol, anxious, nervous, excited, upset - really feeling just about any emotion. It's gotten to the point where I do not expose my chest/neck ever - and cover up whenever I can. I had read once that taking Niacinimide could help - and I've been taking about 1000mg of it for a few months, but am not seeing much improvement.
Its been more than three days i have red little spots on my face and neck and they are very itchy please suggest me something to cure it and i have itching in hands and legs too.
Hi. Please help me. I kissed this guy and got a rash all over my face and neck a few days after. I swear we only kissed, but one of my friends says you can get some pretty bad stuff from saliva. I noticed the same rash on him later that day, but he told me it was an allergy and he gets it quite often (he even asked me for an anti-allergy pill!) I tried an anti-fungal cream, but with no results so far. It's been two days and its getting worse.
Hey i have a red itchy rash on my face mostly on my chin, but it spreads to my cheeks and the tops of my eyelids. i thought it could be a reaction from the flu shot i took like 2 weeks ago but the things i read said that it will happen with min. or hours after taking the shot....i have been broke out for 2 days now and i am itching soo bad can some one help me please??
It doesn't itch or burn, and i stopped using makeup, changed my new pillow cases back to my old ones, and even stopped washing my face. the rash is kind of hard to see but its a bunch of tiny red dots almost like a heat rash. It spreads a little but not to much and like I said it doesn't itch or burn but I would like it to be gone. How can i get rid of this rash? and what is it?
I have had a returning red rash on my neck area mainly for the past two weeks on and off and now it has come back and has spread to my shoulders as well as my abdomen and now my face is beginning to itch. I have applied some benedryl and it is not working. I do have sensitive skin and have had similar bumps in the past and have applied the perscription cream aclovate and have been relived overnight. However, this time is not the same.
I am a 41 year old female. I have adult onset diabetes (NOT under control - running about 180 after fasting), high Blood pressure (under control with Lisinopril) depression, (under control with Amitriptyline) I've never had a problem with acne. I've also never been good at sticking to a daily cleansing of my face. (I've used Mary Kay, Avon, etc but never stuck to it) I've pretty much always just used hot water in the shower. No soap, nothing. This is the first time that I have had any problems.
I have had non itchy red spots over my face, neck, chest on and off since beginning tx. I have no idea what are they but had attributed them to either toxicity from the meds, changes in hormones or I have even considered that it could be the dead virions exiting my body. They have never really caused me any distress other than making me look like a pimply teenager!
I have been battling this recurring horrible rash that appears on my neck and face. Doctors said it is an allergic reaction. .but can't pin point to what. I have drastically changed my diet...no dairy, wheat. I use hypoallergenic detergent, I don't use makeup and only use vanicream. They say it is excema but I have never had excema on my face before. They have done skin allery tests which show that I am allergic to dustmites, molds, cats and dogs and some trees and grasses.
Two years ago I came up with this rash on my face. It started at the sides of my mouth and looked like wine stains. I went to a dermatologist and he gave me an antibiotic to take saying it might be a fungal infection. I took the medicine and it went away. For two years I have suffered with cycles of first intense itching, then a blotchy rash shows up all over my face, it burns like the dickens and makes my face very hot like flushing.
