Red lump at inner corner of eyelid

Common Questions and Answers about Red lump at inner corner of eyelid

lump

I have gotten bumps like this before but on my cheek bones. They are real red and very hard. They are about the size of a tip of a pencil eraser (as round). Now i have a very small red line that runs up the inside of my eye (the the eye itself but the skin on the outside) and it still hurts a tad bit. I was wondering if anyone knew what that might be??? I figured it was acne or an allergy bump of some sort or something... but now i am kinda worried... what could it possibly be???
My brother has a large red growth that started at the inner corner of his left eye. It was originally like the little red area in the corner of his eye was a little swollen, now it seems to be growing nearly across his lower eyelid. Is that a stye? If not, what could it be?
my head on top is always itching, it hurts, my sister looked at it, said it was red, really red. when i touch my lump behind my ear it hurts, it feels like a bone. when to the clinic a few months ago, maybe 6 months, they told me, if i had a cold or something, said that it will go a way by it self soon, fighting an infection. but now im worried.
One more thing- it may or may not be related but yesterday morning I woke up with a dry, red, sore patch of skin around the left corner of my mouth. When covered up with makeup, it's not so bad, but still notciable and sometimes itchy. I put on some E45 cream today, as I thought this would help, but I think it made it worse as it started stinging and burning almost immediatley. I never had this before, only since the problem has returned to my eyelids. Related, perhaps?
Red burning skin around my eyes. At times, eyelid and upper eye area swelling. Sometimes just very dark red skin around my eyes. I have gone to 2 internal med specialists, 2 opthamolagists and 1 dermatolagist. Been treated for blepharitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and allergies. Whenever I start another treatment I have a short period of relief. It always comes back...longest time without symptoms 10 days. Like eveyone else, I have thrown all makeup, lotions, and soaps away.
It might not be the same for all of you but one characteristic sypmtom of lupus is a malar rash which can be red or scaly dry skin on the upper part of your face and over the bridge of your nose. Of course it can be on other parts of your body too but this type of rash is common with lupus. I have been procrastinating on going in for a while but now that my daughter is experiencing symptoms I am going to have to make it a priority.

I am having the same problem, ALSO on my left eye... went to see an overcharged eye doctor, send me home with hardly any examination. Went to see my optometrist who is more helpful than the eye doctor! he said noticed a oily lump (which i found on the net and it is called chalazion?) in the top left of my upper eyelid which "maybe" the cause. Honestly, I noticed it to but I felt uncomfortable before I notice it so I was kinda skeptical...

They don't all of these at the same time, just at random times. It has even happend when I haven't eaten or drank anything. Any suggestions/ reasons why this his happening are welcome.

You hit the nail on the head. Myofascial Pain Disorder! I was just getting ready to post the same message that you did. I've been through most of the pain and problems that I just got done reading about and if I waited for my GP to figure this out I would never get any better. Thanks to a therapist who specializes in Myofascial Pain Disorder I am getting much better. The "hot spots" or trigger points on my upper back are gone.
sometimes not for an hour or so but most of the time at least some part of me has uncontrollable itching. mostly its my thighs, abdomen, buttocks, chest and arms. nothing helps and there is absolutely no symptoms. no bumps, rash, or anything. my sister has tried a million different medications and i have tried many different oils and herbal remedies. nothing helps at all. i usually wake up in the morning and have to itch for at least an hour before i start my day.
She said all results were good-normal but my white blood cell count was borderline high, which means that my immune system was working big-time to counter-act the vaccines. Yes, I can't look at anymore of these diseases and conditions online either because my heart starts racing and I feel sick. Until one of these doctors give me a "firm" diagnosis I am staying away from finding out more.
I dont usually have all the symptoms at once...they kind of take turns. One doctor suggested moving to Arizona as it may be a sinus issue but the ENT's say I have no sinus isue- just regular allergies and the allergists say that they have never seen symptoms like these for allergies. I tried psychologists even though the ony reason I am stressed out is cuz I can never live....before this sickness I was the happiest person around- and even psychologists turned me away as normal.
It won't eliminate the pain (though sometimes it helps) but it helps the body get over the ordeal faster. At least it does for me. Of course, if you feel faint, STAY PUT and sit or lie down, preferably in a carpeted room (not a concrete floor, like I've passed out on before). I too have found that eating greasy food sometimes precipitates an episode.
I don't even notice a DECREASE in symptoms, but since it is coming out of me I will keep at it. I might just have a ton of candida. It might be that I need to repopulate my gut with good bacteria which I will do after I've gotten rid of more candida. I took a bunch of anti-fungals last night and got a really bad stomach ache, which I think is a good sign that they are working. My tongue is getting pinker and pinker!
the fissure is at the top of the hood area and therefore cracks open again every time i sit down to pee or wash or get up from sitting on the floor..i switched to wearing boxer shorts all day and night and no help there..god does anyone have any helpful ideas?!!!!
It is totally amazing how all day and all night it doesn't hurt at all, only SEVERE pain in the am. I can barely roll over. My husband has to help me out of the bed as I grit my teeth. This has been every morning for the past year or so. The pain first started when my little boy turned 7 months old. We thought it has something to do with lifting him etc. We know it's not because he is 3 now and I don't pick him up at all!
A few sufferers describe visual hallucinations such as black streaks out of the corner of their eyes especially early on in the course of the illness. Every one of us have been to multiple doctors, neurologists, ENT, even chiro's with no answers. We have been mocked by doctors, brushed aside, referred to psychiatrists, and have lost our ability to live a normal life. We have all have the usual brain scans and bloodwork which all appears normal.
It was nice to spend 4th of July at my place of worship. We had a bbq and all. Spent time praying for world peace and peace in usa. A good friend had a baby girl 5 days ago and she managed to come pray with us. I was happy to see her new baby girl but at times I was thinking of what I am having to go through to get to that point. Mixed feelings. Life is just so complicated sometimes but knowing that prayer always helps me, I relied on that and took strength.
