I have a bunch of red itchy bumps on the side of my stomach that just appeared overnight, and they seem to be getting slightly worse - they've been there now for about 3 days. Any idea what this could be?
My 20 month old has been getting itchy red bumps that look like bug bites. Mostly we are finding them on his legs with one on each wrist. New ones come up all the time but only in these two places. The bumps ooze a clear liquid. They come and then start to go away and then all of a sudden he has two more. I have cats but they are outside cats. We have checked for fleas - none. No one else in the house has any type of bump. Can you help?
My 10 year old has non itchy red bumps that look like a mix between acne and chicken pox but without the pus-filled center. This rash is all around his neck and all around his arm pit area. Now spreading to the truck and back of his body and around his groin area. I have tried every cream and he is on a strict bathing routine. Its now been over a month and seems to be getting worse. My last resort is the Doctor. No fever or any signs of being sick. Any imput on what this could be???
For the last 6 or 7 years I have developed red, sometimes swollen, bumps/lumps which lay on my knuckles and on the tops of my fingers. They are not exactly painful but when you knock them or run your finger over them for instance they feel quite sore and 'blister like'. I get these all times of the year so the weather does not seem to be factor. However, I have noticed that in the summer, they seem to worsen. The area around them can also become dry and scaly looking.
My three children have bumps on chest, stomach, back, shoulders and a few on there face most bumps are red but some are the color of there skin what could it be?
In the morning I felt itchy and when I WENT TO THE BATHROOM i noticed ALL KINDS OF little red mod size bumps on my penis and a few on my scrotum.. I have these red bumps on my pelvis they look like bug bites. I hate the itch and the look.. Last time I had sex was back about 3 months ago.
But last week my 2 year old son came home from the park and I noticed he had those same watery red bumps all over his hands it didn't seem to bother his so I didn't panic, then the next day my 16 year old daughter had the same problem and she said here hands itched and burned and there were those red watery bumps under her skin on her hands all over her hands the back and the palms, the next day my 11 year old son came to me with the exact same problem but his are watery bumps mainly in between
I keep on having these red, itchy bumps all over my body. They started about 3 weeks ago. At first I believed they were bedbugs bites. I had 2 different exterminators looking for bugs. Did not find a single bug of any kind. The red, itchy, look-like-bites are more on my ankles, in both sides of legs, in the back (around the area where is my bra). Went to my Dr he said I have chicken pox (this was my 2nd time in 18 years), no fever.

My 7 yr old son had a breakout of itchy white bumps on his scrotum about amonth ago. I put Benadryl, lanacane, Co Co butter, and even tried anti fungal cream. Finally the itching stopped. About a week ago a tiny cluster of red bumps showed up with white/yellow heads and they popped when he was bathing. The red cluster is still there and 1 of the red bumps keeps coming to a yellow head. What is this and what is it from?
Hi, I have also had quite similar "skin itchy/tiny bumps/blisters" as well. Only thing is...I have three children that also have these same symptoms...I know, right...I was thinking..."oh no, scabies!" But we have been to their pediatrician 2 times...she says it doesn't look like scabies...and seems to suggest it could be many things but no real answers. I have had enough! What the heck could it be? they start as a single tiny bump that gets so itchy...
Hello, From the symptoms and pictures,it looks like nummular eczema(stubborn, itchy rash that forms coin-shaped patches on the skin.Found mainly in adults but can oocur in children also) , hives(red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours. Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known.
I wanted to post this so that folks would know what happens with those unexplainable strange itchy red bumps that they seem to find themselves covered in all of a sudden. Scary, but we were not sure if it was going to be Staphylococcus, MRSA, Flegel's Disease or Scabies or god knows what else. It may be that i also had a bit of Staph there too though, because the antibiotics that I finished last week did make something of a difference.
Itchy, red bumps on the fingers may develop after contact with any allergen. Scabies can cause itchy red bumps on the hands and finger webs. Fungal infection will cause bumps, scaling and itching. If there are blisters it is possible that it is due to dyshidrotic eczema. A correct diagnosis will help in deciding the exact treatment for your condition. Consult a dermatologist. Do keep me posted. Take care and regards!
I recently discovered extremely sore red bumps on my vagina, they are now becoming pimple like. I don't consider them to be blisters but I'm not sure if some types of herpes look like pimples more than blisters. I'm really freaking out about this and am hoping that someone could tell me if it's something else. I am getting tested Friday but it would really put me at ease if someone could tell me what it could be. The only symptoms I have are extremely sore pimple like bumps.
The rash consists of small red bumps that look similar to acne, it is extremely itchy, then is blisters and pops (whether I itch it or not) leaving a scab. It does not spread to any other areas of my body, my spouse and children don't catch it from me and it is not in my underarms or genitalia. The symptoms seem to respond, minimally to tea tree oil and Monocycline (I've been to two MDs and go each year but this appears a mystery to them), however it takes months to go away.
I have bumps all over my scalp and they are very itchy and the red bits are where I have peeled the skin and it has scabbed. I have had this skin condition on my scalp for the past 6-7 years. It is unbearable sometimes. I have been to the Dr in the past but they just classify it as a Psorasis – but it doesn’t fit the description of psorasis and I have tried the prescribed tar based shampoos and various lotions but none of them have worked.
I have not been to a doctor yet, due to finances, but i am starting to wonder about this rash i have had for over 2 months now. It is red itchy spots that almost look like a bunch of mosquito bites and itch just the same. It first came up on the insides of my elbows and itches so bad i have multiple scars. Since then it has kept moving around. Sometimes it will go away and pop back up somewhere else 3 days later.
4th toes). Red little welted bumps. Very itchy. What could it be? Is she allergic to something she ate? Something she's wearing? No other bums anywhere else on her body. Do you think it's related to too much moisture on her feet? Sweat? Or eczema? Heat rash? Your advise will be appreciated.
I have a huge purple bruise on the top of my right thigh and one is starting to develop on the inside of my left thigh. Now I have the itchy red bumps on my wrist and hand, my arms, my foot, my stomach, and a few on my buttocks. They are scattered and small so it's not very noticeable but it is so annoying and I'm starting to worry. I have never had any allergies or anything like this before.
Mine do itch, and I don't lay out in the sun or do tanning beds, but if the skin on my legs or arms is exposed to the sun, my skin becomes itchy and they multiply. I hate the way they look. The Dr. told me that its skin damage from sunburns that I recieved in the past for laying out, and he let me know that they are never going to go away. Hes the second over the last 10 yrs to tell me....
LADIES I had this problem for months: itchy, red, peeling skin on my labia. First Dr. I went to thought it was a sever yeast infection but treating for that didn't work. After a culture test found out it was a STAPH INFECTION. This is not to freak you out! This is to make you go to the Dr. even if you're scared! I was embarrassed and hid it for months waiting for it to go away, but it will only get worse!! Please, just go to the Dr.!
now the way any allergist (immunologist) will know if you have dermographism is by simply lighlty stroking or scratching your skin with something slightly sharp and watching your reaction if your skin becomes more red than normal and stays red for a long time( and may slightly protrudes and has a white line in the middle) then you probably have dermographism i dont think there is more sophisticated test for this.
My skin - mostly my legs have been itching the past two days. There are small bumps. But not always. It seems to happen mostly in the afternoon or evening. I took a bath when I got home today and they got very bad. Any suggestions??
this could be herpes but odds are it's something else going on. Herpes never presents are bumps under the skin. what treatments have they given you so far? I'd certainly try warm compresses to the area and/or soaking in the tub with some epsom salts thrown in too over the weekend. give the clinic a call monday to see if any of your test results are back yet too. you can contract hsv1 from oral sex but the risk of such is low.
My husband age 59 has been experiencing burning, prickly itchy skin at random times but mostly during the evening. He has the sensation of pins and needles pricking his skin from the inside out. This mostly occurs on his arms or legs or back, but not concurrently. First it was his legs then it moved to his back and currently the problem is on his arms. The sensation will be symetrical, i.e. both arms. The prickling turns into severe itching with sensations of pin pricking pain.
