Two nights ago I was in bed and I noticed that my side (side of my chest below my right breast) was itchy. I didn't think much of it; I just figured it was an insect bite. Yesterday my side was quite itchy again, and when I looked at the area it was much worse than I expected. I had 3, very red, raised linear bumps and the surrounding skin was red as well. The middle of each bump had a tiny bit of puss in it.

But I first noticed the red bumps on my genital, under the crown of my penis head and also on the foreskin. Then on my scrotum and later red bumps showed up on my shoulder, then on the right side of my body, then a couple on my left arm, and my thigh. They don't itch that much tho. So I applied tea tree oil, neosporin, and another ointment for poison ivy. As of now, the bumps are still visible but not itching.
Quite often I get these red icthy bumps on my face. It comes and go very quickly. The bump looks like an insect bite and if I itch it, it will sometimes get larger. It will eventually go away within 30 minutes. I get it all the time and was wondering if you had any idea of what it is and what may cause it.
I have red itchy small bumps that look like bites but are not. They are on my inner thighs, and have some on my chest, lower stomach and butt. I have had sex and they seem to really itch when in contact with vaginal moisture. I I may have a few on my penis shaft, because it really itched when it came in contact with vaginal mositure. What is this? They came out of nowehere and really itch randomly. They are small pinkish red bumps that resemble a bite.
After that, what start as small bruise-like areas turn into red, intensely itchy bumps on the exposed parts of the body (arms, legs, chest, and sometimes the face). Scabies is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs.
Hello, Skin conditions like contact dermatitis, dermatitis, lice, scabies and hives, eczema, viral rash and atopic dermatitis and allergic reactions to chemicals ,wool, soaps, cosmetics and certain foods can cause such itchy skin. You can apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area. Oral antihistamine, such as Benadryl can also be used. You should take a comfortably cool bath and wear smooth-textured cotton clothing. Application of calamine lotion also helps in soothing the skin.
Do you remeber any history of insect bite or exposure to some new substance? You could take oral antihistamine medications like loratadine or cetrizine for a few days and see if it helps with your symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions. This should help with your symptoms. If the lesions still persist, it would be advisable to consult your doctor and get a clinical examination got done for your symptoms.
This past week i began to get little bumps that at first looked like a mosquito bite, and because of the habit i began to scratch it. Within a few minutes the one bump became several and it swoll up and was red. I would stop scratching and they eventually jus disappear out of nowwhere and i couldn't even tell that they were there. I started taking pictures of them, because they started jus appearing and disapearing out of no where. Does anyone have a clue of what this might be?
They are small, reddish bumps on my skin that are mostly appearing on my arms and legs, and they itch like a flea or mosquito bite. They itch for about an hour, and then fade after a day or so. I shower daily and wash my clothing regularly, so I have no idea where this is coming from, and they appear throughout the day. Shortly after the bites started appearing, I spent a week visiting my boyfriend in another city.
initial skin reaction may be a reddish bump which may later present as a bluish bump due to the bite. Are there other similar bumps or skin conditions in other parts of the body?
Hello, This kind of itchy bumpy rash can be due to sweat rash, insect bite or fungal infection.Give her antihistamines like Benadryl(causes drowsiness) or Zyrtec and apply calamine lotion on the rash.Application of mild steroid cream is also helpful. If the symptoms persist then a dermatologist’s evaluation will be the best.Fungal infections have to be ruled out. Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
As every one of us doesn’t have similar skin types, the immune system also varies from person to person. Itchy and swollen red bumps or patches all over the body is the way they present and they will appear in clusters at different periods of time. This kind of skin inflammation with swollen red itchy patches all over the body is the most common form of allergy rash. You can treat it by taking oral anti-histamines like Cetrizine/Loratidine.
But, I started getting really itchy one day and I got little red bumps on my penis, balls, inner thighs, butt, back and stomach. It's like a HORRIBLE mosquito bite gone crazy. I itched so much that i got a rash on my inner thighs and i itched at my balls and penis so much that the bumps got bigger. And being active all the time and sweating in my boxer area did not help at all. I went to the dr and told them that I thought it was because of new laundry detergent.
I keep on having these red, itchy bumps all over my body. They started about 3 weeks ago. At first I believed they were bedbugs bites. I had 2 different exterminators looking for bugs. Did not find a single bug of any kind. The red, itchy, look-like-bites are more on my ankles, in both sides of legs, in the back (around the area where is my bra). Went to my Dr he said I have chicken pox (this was my 2nd time in 18 years), no fever.
i have tiny itchy itchy bumps on my hands most of them look like ant bites a few look more like just red itchy bumps on my pinky there is maybe two or three red bumps together they almost look like mosquito bites. have some around my elbow and have some in the under arm close to the armpits. but i do have alot of these ant and mosquito looking bites on my fingers and palms.
I have got these little red bumps on the inside of my legs and its like they dry up and dead skin comes off and they are on my arms also. I thought that they might be flea bites but they are too little to be that because i do have a house dog. They have got me worried because i dont know what they are.
It started as 2 bite like bumps on my feet. I put benadryl on. This was in septemberish. A few more appeared. Ten they became red. Then they were one flat long bump. Then it started under the bandaids flap I had over it. Then I got a bunch of red blotch dots that randomly appear throught my legs. I have no clue what's wrong and I'm scared. Please help.
It's not bed bugs because they are only ever on my arms and my husband has not been affected. I now have 2-3 itchy bug-bite like bumps on and just above my left elbow. It's very strange. I can almost guarantee that once these start to fade (in about 3 days), another bump or two will pop up on one of my arms and itch like crazy again. I'm just glad I'm not the only one experiencing something like this.
It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs. So my advice would be to consult a dermatologist and get this investigation done to rule out/ confirm scabies.
As far as I know, I'm only allergic to alcohol (itchy sking) and heavy dust (nose and eyes), and this started only yesterday after I took a nap on that old couch in the living room, which has almost never gave me problems except on 2 occasions (nose and eyes). Now I got red, itchy bumps all over my body, especially on the limbs, which kind of come and goes, and come and goes. It's getting in the way of sleep.
I have also had these tiny red bumps. They feel like a splinter or sticker-burr under the skin. I currently have them on my right pinkie so everytime I need to write something it hurts. The area all around the bumps is red. I have something similar on my pointer finger below the middle knuckle. This area became very swollen and is just starting to go down. I saw a dermatologist for another reason and he suggested chilblains.
A few days after I removed all of the ticks, I started to get these itchy little red bumps all over. They started on my arm, then moved to my legs, back, chest, and groin. It is just annoying and I don't know what I should do. My insurance doesn't kick in until September 1, 2010. I have read it could possibly be the tick venom leaving my body and that could take anywhere from 1-3 weeks. Does this sound correct? Any and all information is greatly appreciated.
