Red bumps under chin

Common Questions and Answers about Red bumps under chin

bumps

I have recently had the bumps come up on my chin. They are the same color as my skin u can not tell unless you are up close or I wear a concealer. They are red when irritated. Sometimes they can be itchy but usually the area is dry. These bumps can not be popped nothing comes out and you just damage the skin I have found that there is a temporary way to remove them is to take a needle and scrape them off but it bleeds and you have the scab but I hide it with make up.
I have been getting these red painful bumps under my beard on my chin after my beard starts to get a little bit thick - at first i thought i needed to clean face better so i started washing several times a day but the bumps still appear every time in about the same place but if i am clean shaving then my skin is all clear - can anyone help with --- thx
I have a rather large sore that appears under the skin on my chin. This seems to appear usually when I am under stress. After the first couple days it breaks through the surface. This mass is about 3/4 in by 1 in. It usually takes about two weeks to heal. I use Gold Bond antibiotic cream several times a day. What is this sore called, and what can be done to avoid another outbreak? This discussion is related to Facial bumps.
I have tried all sorts of exfoliating techniques and topical treatments (AHA, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, lactic acids, etc…) and nothing ever gets rid of the bumps. What do you think is causing these bumps? What are these bumps? How do I get rid of them?
For the last year my pores have enlarged and I have many white bumps under the skin on my right side of my face around the chin, jaw and top of the cheek bone down to the jaw with a few a couple in the middle of my right cheek. They arent hard bumps and most if squeezed while produce a white string substance and it never goes away. I wash my face morninng & night and have tried every type of face wash hoping to find my cure. Can you please tell me what this is and how do I get rid of them.
on sunday night my left side of the face was itching didnt think much of it but the next morning my face was swollen and had little red spots & was bumpy. it seemed to go away but it came back today & it seems to be spreading now i have it on part of my ear, behind my ear, under my chin and also its spreading 2 my nect. what can be the cause of it?? could it be from two wisdom tooth extractions that i had about a month ago???
Especially around my nose where it is red, there are tiny bumps as well as under my mouth with redness. Is what I have acne or is it some other problem? Here is a picture: http://imgur.
I felt okay after some time but when my wisdom tooth started growing, the gum was dark red(the gum above the wisdom tooth) and i noticed somekind of boil in the place of extraction, extra bump(swollen lymph) in between my right cheek and jaw, almost where the tooth was extracted and then i noticed other two growing under my chin(one sub-mandibular and the other one, on the upper right side of my throat). I went to many dentists and they said there must have been a tooth broken in the gum.
I have had a itchy rash under/in my nose its really sore with bumps and white tiny spots. Its been getting worse over the last 2 years and never clears up. Its now spreading to my chin. Iv been to the doctors plenty of times and they've given me so many different creams/gels the only ones that help is steroid base creams which I cant keep using on my face as iv been told there will be long term issues... noticed it started soon after my son turned one.
Since I was 13 or so (i am now 19) i've had dry flakey red skin under my nose ( i think it started in the creases of my nostrells and spread since). It is now under and around my nostrells and almost to my lips and is now on my chin but not as bad, not constantly red like my nose but gets very dry. I have been treated for it several times and given ezcema and anti fungal creams which didnt help.
The rash is on the right side of my chin, the size of my thumbprint, leading from the corner of my mouth towards my jawline. It is red and the bumps look like very tiny pimples filled with white liquid. They don't seem to pop or scab and I avoid touching the area. They also are only very minimally itchy, and have no real pain associated with them, just very unsightly. I have attached a pic, unfortunately my camera is unable to capture the reddness or clearly show the detail of the bumps.
major flare up of burning on chin and neck. Dermatologist gave pramasone and larger cortisone injection, this time in hip. (Then went out of town for holiday!!). Today: Burning continues on chin and neck, some redness, a couple of very small red bumps along hair line on bottom of neck. I decided to see my GP and he thought it might be a fungal infection. Prescribed Lamisil for 30 days and told to stop creams. Now at 6th day, some slight improvement, but still have some burning on neck.
After sex with my exclusive partner, I developed a painful rash on my chin. It has red, blisters and it itches and burns. I scrubbed my face and some of the blisters have opened. There is a clear liquid inside of them. Is this herpes? I have had cold sores since I was 10 yrs old. I always get one in the exact same place on my lower lip but haven't had one in months. I have never been sexually intimate with my partner when I've had a cold sore.
my 4 yr old has 4 or 5 red bumps that are very red appearin on her chest arms, chin and under her eye. What could this be?
ever since taking the clomiphene a rash appeared under my mouth next to my chin down the sides. its sore, itchy, dry and bumpy. it occasionally weeps clear fluid from the bumps and then forms a white scab on the lumps. is this a bad case of rosacea i have no facial flushing in that area.? is this eczema or some form of dermatitis. normal emollient creams are not moisturising enough and i find only lanolin will take the dryness away.
I usually end up stabbing them as I said, and eventually after a few days of this the drama will reach its climax when the sucker finally produces a large white head which I squeeze with hopeless abandon. Needless to say my chin is pretty red with scars. Aside from that, my skin is fine. My chin (like the rest of my face) gets it's random blackheads and the occasional blemish, but nothing out of the ordinary (or painful).
Well when I undressed him for his bath I noticed quite a few raised red bump all under his chin and down his side and in his armpit some on his tummy and I think there was a few on his back. I always thought those were places for chicken pox but he has no fever or anything. The ones under his chin looked more like hives. Do you think this could have been a reaction to the computer ink on the card??? I do not know why he would have them on his arms, sides, stomache and pits ect.
My 11 yr old daughter has a red bumpy rash on her bottom lip and under the lip. She just has one large bump in the middle of the bottom lip and several small bumps above her chin. She originally thought it was just blemishes so she washed her face several times a day, but there was no improvement, and now they are red, very sore, & covered in a yellow/brown crust. They also burn if she touches or picks at them.
I recently develop very serious generalized itching mostly on my back arms, legs and back, which cool down when I take Benadryl, also when I scratched hard the area becomes instantly raised in weird snake-like fashion and turns a little red. I also started seeing this strain of Buttons under my chin, ant. and post. neck and lower back. At first I thought it was just acne, but they never turn yellow, just flesh colored or a little red.
I have them next to my nose and under my nose and under my bottom lip, on my cheeks, and somewhat on my forehead. I am not sure what they are but they do not bother me though. I think I started getting more when I went to Thailand but they never went away. I do have dry skin also. They are the same color as my skin but sometimes they are red.
I have red bumps all on my chest, back and neck on the front. They usually are only under my clothing. Thought it may be from my detergent so I switched to unscented but no luck. I finally went to the doctor and he sent me to walgreens to buy this lotion called AMLAXIN XL. It burns for a few minutes but their usually all gone within an hour. The tube of lotion is $29.99 but well worth it. It keeps my skin moist and for the most part, bump free. I use it twice a day. It works soo good!
Your diet, stress levels and all sorts of weird stuff is closely integrated with how well your body is able to control yeast which is naturally all over your body. Well, I've had that same stupid patch of red bumps under my eye, which are raised, look like a few pimples, some have white heads, but won't pop, cause dry skin that flakes off... Yeah. Exact same thing. Soooo...
To who can help: I have a 1/2 dozen or so red spots under my chin & side of my neck and a few on the side of my face. This just started to occur though in the last 1/2 year, I have notice 1 red mark at times. They would go away. But this time it is pretty bad. No other place of my body is infected. Just the neck and by the end of jaw area.
Hello, Tonight as I was removing my makeup I noticed a pattern of dark red spot pattern under my chin. The skin is smooth, there are no bumps, there is no pain. However, they are very visible. I put some Avene for sensitive skin and lemon juice for vitamin C. What could they be?? About a month to 3 weeks ago I had ran out of the Avene for sensitive skin and I experimented with some regular OTC creams.. for a while under my skin was very itchy and so were parts of my face.
WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE OF THESE BUMPS? THE BUMPS HAVE WHITE PUSS IN THEM,THEIR NOT SORE AT ALL,AND MY CHIN IS RED.
a few months back, i started to get small blister-like bumps on my chin and moustache area. when burst, yellow or white pus would flow out. none occured on my lips so i think it is not herpes and i have no girlfriend. the condition of this problem is kind of annoying, some days none would appear yet some days a few would appear over a period of hours. i would burst all of them because im quite embarrassed by it, of course i made sure to wash my hands and rinse the affected area with water.
It comes from chronic sun exposure and doesn't go away. There's usually a zone of clear skin right under the chin in the center, where the chin has protected the skin from sun exposure. Most people don't treat this, but if you want to look into it, consult a dermatologist who uses lasers or similar devices, which may be able to soften the redness. Also, you'll get the kind of definitive diagnosis I can't give you from a distance, but that's what it sounds like. Best. Dr.
