Hello, Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern for the red bumps on your face. Your concern for adenoma sebaceum is genuine because most of the cases present with tubular sclerosis. However definite tuberous sclerosis is diagnosed by either 2 major features or 1 major feature and 2 minor features and possible tuberous sclerosis is either 1 major feature or 2 minor features.
Approximately one week ago I noticed a small rash about halfway between my chin and lower lip (on the left side of the center of my face). It was a little red and a little raised. It consisted of a cluster of small raised bumps that are visible to the naked eye (you sort-or have to be looking for them but they are definately there).
Hi, a couple of days ago i noticed red itchy/painful red bumps on my side. At first I thought it was just irritation from my underwear but its not going away.. what could this be?
For the last 6 or 7 years I have developed red, sometimes swollen, bumps/lumps which lay on my knuckles and on the tops of my fingers. They are not exactly painful but when you knock them or run your finger over them for instance they feel quite sore and 'blister like'. I get these all times of the year so the weather does not seem to be factor. However, I have noticed that in the summer, they seem to worsen. The area around them can also become dry and scaly looking.
A few days ago, I noticed in the bathroom that I had small red bumps on my inner thighs. I don't know if it's anything serious, but I'm worried. I'm still in high school and still a virgin. I never had any sexual activities with others before. I don't know if it's anything serious... because I tried touching the big, popped one (I don't know how it popped.) and it hurt. The others are small and red, sort of like pimples. Is this some sort of disease/infection?
They look like pimples but are similar to my skin color and won't pop. They do not hurt or itch at all. They are right on top of the skin on either side that converges at the opening of my (urethra?) penis opening. I asked the girl if she had anything and she said she had been tested and that she did not.
I am also recently getting over a sinus infection and have been using Nasonex nasal spray the last couple of days to get rid of the lingering congestion. I am seeing a doctor next week. Any advice for what I can put on my face to get the red and burning out?
I have dry skin so i generally put baby oil on my face but i discovered that if i dont put any on the bumps they start to dry up and go away. They're not always red and they don't hurt its just there. They're are in the perfect circle like ringworm but i know its not ringworm because i've had it before and they don't itch or anything. I'ts right on the top of my left cheek bone and its driving me crazy because i can't cover them up and its the size of a quarter.
Two days ago, I took half a pill. The next day I started to get red bumps/spots on my hands, feet, and my face. They hurt when touched, and itch when not touched. It seems to be getting worse. Is it because of the pill I took? Because my friend took the other half and he said nothing happened to him. I don't want to go to a doctor yet, because I don't want my mom to find out about the pill. However, if this continues, than in a week I will go to a doctor.

I have since then seen a Dr and he insisted they were cists and would eventually go away so I said okay, no big deal. A week after my visit I noticed that a few red bumps had appeared right above my upper lip. They do not hurt at all they are just slightly raised but have been there about 2 weeks. Normally my acne/pimples go away within 3-5 days but these just kind of linger.
i used and exfoliant on my face and later on my face was broke out and had blisters on it . Now im dealing with red patches of dry skin on cheeks , chin .
Hello, I have had these little white/red bumps on the shaft and base of my penis for about 3 months now (about 2-7 at a given time) They are not in a cluster but close together. The white/red bumps after a few days will begin to form a white head just like zit. I then can pop them and white puss comes out just like a zit, there isn't any burning and itching.
Hi I'm 19 years old and I just noticed these pink/red bumps on my waist and a couple a little bit lower as well. They do not itch or hurt and there pretty small. I'm not sure what they could be and a little worried. Can someone help me out.
I just have one or two red bumps on my lips. They dont line my lips they are just singular. They dont hurt really and cant feel them with mouth when I like my lips. I do wear chap stick about once or twice a day, if that. The bumps are really small and not noticable unless you're right up on my face.
On the check area right next to my nose the area started to turn red with what i thought was a pimple. Its been like two weeks and the bump got pretty decent sized then started to go down just every so slightly I think. The area is extremely hard but doesnt hurt at all. What could this be?
About three days ago I noticed pain when wiping myself after going to the bathroom. I used a mirror to take a look, and saw some red bumps on the outer labia. They only hurt a but if i touch them. They look like pimples and feel kind of like an underground zit you would get on your face. I usually shave down there, but haven't for a few weeks, so I'm thinking the bumps are maybe ingrown hairs?
I have an outbreak on my face and I’m not sure what it is. The outbreak has been persistent for over 6 months now. It appear to be red little bumps below my lip and above my chin area they appear to be dry and pealing at times, they don’t hurt or itch, yet it does sting when I put pressure on the area.
I recently discovered extremely sore red bumps on my vagina, they are now becoming pimple like. I don't consider them to be blisters but I'm not sure if some types of herpes look like pimples more than blisters. I'm really freaking out about this and am hoping that someone could tell me if it's something else. I am getting tested Friday but it would really put me at ease if someone could tell me what it could be. The only symptoms I have are extremely sore pimple like bumps.
My boyfriend and I went to Rehoboth Beach, DE last weekend and he has an itchy rash on his waist, ankles and thighs. I have red bumps on my ankles and knees. Some of my bumps are raised and seem to be filled with liquid. He went to the doctor but could not get a diagonosis because doctor sen't sure what it was and prescribed a cortizone cream and antihistimine. Mine seem to be going away. We are thinking his could be scabies and are afraid to sleep together as it could be contagious.
2 days ago, he had two more appear, one about one half inch from the first one and another one on the end of his nose. The two that are on his face also have a knot under them that you can feel when you apply gentle pressure. The knot was not there before the second one appeared or if it was it was very small and not noticable as I have put ointment on it for him and never felt any knots before.
Hi, I am a 24 year old female in good health, but about a month ago I started getting these red bumps around the corner of my nose that came along with dry flaky red skin, they soon started appearing around my forehead and looked more like pimples but i can't seem to get rid of them and they are actually painful at times. I have used syclic acid creams to dry them out but they just kind of die down then re-appear a week later in the same area...and more and more have been appearing.
For over a year I have had these strange lesions on my face. They start off small and continue to get bigger. They have these little fleshy plugs in them that hurt like hell. Nothing and I mean nothing gets rid of them unless you extract every single fleshy thing and just when you think you have more comes out. They scab over and over and over. Yes I have tried to leave them alone. I've tried fungal medication antibiotics ever essential oil or otc cream you can think of.
Secondly, now I have some very very itchy tiny red bumps on my face that I haven't yet shown the doctor. I have used the Clobetsol topical cortisone ointment on it and it goes away within about 2-3 days. It comes back about one a week or two. Is it bad to use the cortisone topical so often? Is there anything else I can do to prevent it? I use Eucerin sun screen for sensitive skin (fragrance free) and it still comes back. Suggestions?
I have these bumps on my inner thigh area that may be pimples. I having them for a couple of years. They are either red or purple and hurt to touch. When I pop them they puss and bleed. They leave horrible scars and I want to know what they are and how to get rid of them because they are getting annoying.
Have you had your liver evaluated? The fatigue, muscle soreness and the red blotchiness on your face are all symptoms of liver illness, I'd be evaluated right away. Liver problems can be very sneaky and hard to diagnose and are often missed by doctors. I'd ask your doctor to do a full hepatic panel to make sure your liver is ok.
