After and until now (20 years old), I have what appears to be a red rash with raised smooth bumps on my cheeks mostly. My face flushes quite easily so I try to avoid excess heat and dry places. I do have mild acne but not near where this rash appears. I have never been able to make it go away and have used extremely gentle cleansers and moisturizers to help it go away.
I have had for the past 2 years small red bumps on my face in top of my nose, cheeks, around the nose, forehead, etc...I get red but not as much like other people. I used Elidel for 11/2 years and it worked great now I had to stop because of fear that it causes cancer. I have been using metrogel for 8 days but at first it was great and now my pimples are starting to come out again is that part of the process???
I've heard that Vitamin E creams, Alpha Hydroxy or Aloe gels help. Is this true and is there any way to get this redness on my face to go away? I never used to have redness until i began to get acne, but it hasn't gone away. Please help...
My husband has a large bump (like a mass) that all of a sudden has grown on his face - cheekbone area. It is not red, it is not a pimple or boil or anything that can be excised. It looks like a knob - it is the same color as his skin. It is about an inch in diameter. What in the world could it be?
I also use baby wipes and hand wipes to clean his face when a sink and wash cloth isn't available. The pimples never form puss only a tiny red dot and sometimes a bump. They are gone in a day, two at the most. I also apply Vaseline to his lips daily to try and stop him from licking them, I'm wondering if this is contributing to the pimples. Thank you. I have several small, raised white bumps on my face both in areas I shave and places I don't; these occur only on my face and once they appear don't get any larger. They are not red, not painful or itchy and they don't go away. I have every oily skin but generally don't get pimples.
I'm still a young teen but I have had these bumps on my face for a while now. I have them next to my nose and under my nose and under my bottom lip, on my cheeks, and somewhat on my forehead. I am not sure what they are but they do not bother me though. I think I started getting more when I went to Thailand but they never went away. I do have dry skin also. They are the same color as my skin but sometimes they are red.

Hello, These bumps can be due to acne vulgaris, infected hair follicles or boils. Acne is due to an overactivity and plugging of the oil glands. The main cause of acne is increased levels of hormones during adolescence. The white dot in the middle is due to white heads. Just keep you face clean by washing with a mild soap atleast twice a day. Pat it dry and do not rub it. Avoid picking or pressing the acne. You can also use Benzoyl peroxide 5% lotion or gel once at bedtime.
Small itchy red bumps are all over my cheeks and chin. They aren't pimples. I typically have clear skin so I don't understand where this is coming from. I'm 31 years old by the way. No history of allergies. Please help!!

For years I've had small bumps on my arms and back. The bumps are like little pimples and are rough and dry. My face has general redness over the nose and cheeks (I look like I have constant sunburn). A friend thinks I may have rosacea. The symptoms I experience have not bothered me. There's no pain, itchiness, etc. But I'm wondering if there's need to worry?
I have numerous pimple like bumps on my forehead, but they're not red or *****, or anything. Just bumps! And everyone always says stuff to me like "You have alot of pimples on your head" "Look how bumpy your forehead is" It really makes me upset. I should be greatful because I haven't got acne, but it's really embarrasing and makes me self concious. I've tried numerous face washes, cleansers etc. I found some made them go, but came back a few days later.
I sometimes get redness around the head of my penis but i look and there are no red bumps, it doesnt itch, tingle, burn, or hurt. It normally comes after masturbation without any lubricant, and goes away when i go flaccid, but is there for about a day every time i get an erection. Then I have acne and use alot of meds so my face is clear, but i got a pimple by my lip, i could be getting paranoid now, it normally comes after shaving sometimes so it could be an ingrown hair.
Genital HPV will not be on your hands, or your face. Warts do not resemble pimples or red bumps. It sounds like you have acne, or just pimples.
i have a red bump on my left cheek that feels a little hard but it is not a pimple????
Left untreated, bumps and pimples often develop, and in severe cases the nose may grow swollen and bumpy from excess tissue. Rosacea may present with flushing, persistent redness, bumps and pimples, and visible blood vessels. Because the signs and symptoms of rosacea vary from one patient to another, treatment must be tailored by a physician for each individual case.
Hi, This red bump that you have noted on your face may be acne. Not all acne are actually visible on the surface of the skin as red with a yellowish center containing pus. If the area you popped did not seem to heal,I suggest that you have this checked by a dermatologist. We do not want infections to complicate any area of the face. You may need to take oral antibiotics. I suggest that you refrain from unnecessarily touching the area.To assure you, this does not fit the picture of skin cancer.
I have had this small red bump on my face that looks like a pimple but its been there for more than a month now and when i touch it it feels like a small bump .
I have been reading up on the condition because I just started turning red on my face but I do not have the bumps so I am not sure if I really have it. Have him go see a derm right away. there is treatment to control it; no cure though. He should read up on what can trigger it and avoid those things. good luck.
I have red, pimple-like with white heads bumps under my eyes. I have seen 2 eye doctors and 2 dermatologists and I was under the close supervision of a plastic surgeon for another problem (a basal cell carcinoma reconstruction). None of them was able to diagnose this problem. I tried all the antibiotics, eye and lid cleaners, drops, dry eye products (all the samples they had...) etc. but nothing helped. The warm patches work for awhile but the pimples always come back.
I have never had bad skin. These itchy red bumps are not pimples, there is no puss inside. They are almost like round, red patches of dry skin. They don't looks like any pictures of typical skin problems. They have moved to my chin, neck, arms and chest; but are worse on my face. My GP said its some sort of Dermatitis... It's not ringworms or an infection. Could it be an allergic reaction? I recently got a kitten that was dipped in lime sulfur.
