Has anyone encountered recurrent yeast infections? I'm 32+ 3 and this is the 3rd infection in the past 2-3 months. At first I thought I was becoming allergic to my boyfriend, but I held out from sex and still managed to get another infection. I've tried two different creams and an oral pill yesterday (hopefully it works). Do n e one have any suggestions? Also yogurt is out of the question, cannot tolerate it.

Candidiasis is the most common yeast infection of the skin. Since you are having recurrent fungal infections, so it is important to do a fungal culture of the skin scrapings of the affected area to confirm the type of fungal infection you have. Till then, wash the affected skin daily and then dry thoroughly by pat drying, not rubbing. The damp skin is an ideal site for fungi to multiply. Also wear cotton clothes and do not share other people’s towels.
During extensive searching, i located numerous positive Hep C patients that complain of recurrent yeast infections. I never had this before becoming infected and the timing is just too coincidental to be ignored. No new medications, same ones I took for years.
The most likely cause of your symptoms is chronic/recurrent yeast infection, or irritant vaginitis (more likely, I think). Vaginitis just means inflammation of the vaginal/vulvar area.
I'm not sure if you've been examined, or have had swabs and had yeast ruled out. If it is yeast, it may be easily treated with an anti-fungal.
Please help me find relief! I have recurrent yeast infections monthly. I have gotten one a month since I gave birth to my last child in November. I have been to my gynecologist multiple times for this issue and I get no where. I call every month and get a diflucan pills & it usually always clears it up quickly, however, this month has been AWFUL! I am currently dealing with another yeast infection which is much worse this time.
ve never heard of that antibiotic, and my mother works for a gyno. But I have had three during my pregnancy, I am 35weeks. They were the most horrible yeast infections I have EVER had. I used only monistat. I did use the cream one time, but it didn't help and didn't work, and it's not my preference in general, but the pill type one that is inserted the same way, worked best and staid in best. I did it right before bed. Seven day is probably best.
Wow... I have had either recurrent yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis ( ewwww) since all my symptoms started PLUS a forever UTI (per my kidney dr).. I'm still trying to get a dx but this is crazy that I just connected the dots... through my timeline...

I always get yeast infections after oral sex with my boyfriend. It hasnt always been like this but after the first time i got one they have always came back after oral. We got my boyfriend a diflucan to take but it didnt seem to help. what can i do to stop these other than stopping oral sex completely.

I thought it was yeast and self-treated as I've gotten them before. I'm pretty sure its yeast but since posting this I did experience another OB. Initially it started off as a yeast infection and the meds for it stopped the itching and treat it but I realised that the itching persisted and it felt more like how I felt when I had my primary OB. I was still taking the acicyclovir since my first OB around June 8 I've just increased the intake during this OB. I'm treating the Y.

I just got done with both of those infections and it drove me crazy but its very common in pregnancy I never used the monistat 7 while pregnant but I don't cause pre term labor but the infection can well that's what I was told so it has to be treated as soon as possible

Its very common to get multiple yeast infections during pregnancy. There isn't really any way of preventing as hormones change constantly. Speak with your doctor to see about preventatives but I've learned they don't help much.
they will prescribe you something safe for baby. Sometimes yeast infections can mimic bv, a common bacterial infection in pregnancy.
ve heard of natural remedies, such as the garlic clove in the vagina that cures yeast infections. Has anyone tried this during pregnancy? Is it safe? The itching and irritation is driving me nuts.
