my male partner is taking solvadi and ribivarin and I just found out I am pregnant the doc told him to take precautions to avoid getting their partner pregnant but I cant find any information about how the medication effects when the male is taking the medicine and the female gets pregnant if anyone has any information on this please let me know I am so worried about whether everything is going to be okay with the baby or not

So this is probably where your dosage comes from, although it says that 800 mg ribavirin (Rebetol) is enough for your weight. Usually Rebetol is given with PegIntron, and this confused me, because Rebetol is dosed 800 mg for 105 kg, Ribasphere, Copegus and Rebetol are all the same drug, just different names, different manufacturers and different weight based dosages.
