I've never had a rash nor an allergic reaction in my life but about 4 days ago I started noticing my right armpit was becoming irritated. About 3 days ago I noticed it getting red and rashy looking. The rash is near where the pectorial and arm meet and it's got small red bumps inside the rash area. I've uploaded 2 pictures to show what they look like.

I have been doing some research online and the pictures of children who have cold sores is horrible! Is there any sort of preventative treatment for children to make sure they do not suffer from a painful and horrible breakout? m a 30 y/o white male with overall good health (slender and healthy habits). Lately I have noticed that in the areas where this rash is located my body no longer seems to tan so it leaves me with odd looking patches on the back of my neck and a couple of small spots on my arm. When I go for a run the rash seems to really get visible. It does not look to be a pustule but more of a bunch of dark red blotches that are anywhere from dime sized to as small as a pencil point.
