Hello, I have this recurring rash on my neck. It comes whenever my menses is to start. I was wondering if it could come from having oral herpes. Recently I have had a sore throat twice in one month two weeks apart. The rash on my neck is very painful. My doctor seems to think that it is some type of fungus. The dermatologists suggest that it is eczema. But I don't think that is the case.

I had also suffered for a huge aniexty attack previous to the sore throat. I was wondering, if the anxiety attack caused my sore throat (it lasted about 2 hrs +) or is there a chance i contracted and STD, and if i did what kind?

no swollen lymph nodes, no sore throat, no bumps on the neck, just red, itchy and stingy and dry.

i had achy leg muscles, fever- high for one night only, total 4 days- but with burning feelings on face, tingling sensations, did not feel like a regular flu, and now the burning rash on neck.... so whatever it is we got the same thing. Except I did not have sore throat at all.

On mar 15 went to oimry care doctor for bloodwork. I'm convinced the lab tech cleaned my arm with hand sanitizer. I cant sy or sure because my eyes were closed but I heard the noise of the pump and felt the liquid on my arm. I didn't think much of it until now. I have a rash on my face and neck. Sore throat. Stiff neck. This comes at exactly 4 weeks.
3) Start of week 5, sore neck, but no evident enlarged lymph nodes. Neck is however sore on sides and front around clavicle bones. Neck is not sore under chin or on backside). Is this cause from lymph nodes?
4) NO Fever, NO diarrhea or sickness.
5) I did catch genital warts, which started developing week 2...could this be a cause for the symptoms?
Monday I got a severe burning sore throat with no other symptoms. Tuesday sore throat was worse I could barely swallow. Went to MD and had a strep throat test- negative. Also swollen lymph nodes in neck and slight fever 101.
No other cold or flu symptoms. I can only swallow ice water or ice chips. After 3 days I now have a blistery rash on my hands also. Could this be mono or something else- should I see Dr again?
For example...I have these bumpy red spots on my arms, neck and legs. They itch constantly and the surface of my skin has become leathery. My blood panel isn't to far out of whack..except my TSH which is a 45.1...where the normal range should be .3 to 5.1. Does anyone else have these symptoms. The burning tongue thing and rash are very bothersome. Thx for any advice.
I have a strange rash on my neck that started 2 weeks ago. It is very painful. I went to see a dermatologist today. She said she has no idea what it is as it is not itchy but should be but is treating it as an allergic reaction. I told her I am sure that it is not an allergic reaction but she insisted I try the cream. I just put triamcinolon 0.1% on my neck and it burns terribly and now my throat feels tight. Can anyone help with a possible diagnosis? I can provide pictures. Thank you!
After possible exposure and some symptoms, the skin on my neck, ears, and eyelids is all really red and it feels "warm" almost like a sunburn. I don't really see any bumps, it's mostly just red skin (neck, ears, eyelids, part of my chest just below my neck). This seemed to have developed after I was out driving around in the sun for a few hours yesterday but it is still there. Does this sound like an ARS rash? Or is just from driving in the sun/heat?
About 3 weeks ago my daughter developed a rash on her neck and upper chest area. It looked as if she was heated or blushing and it didn't concern me at the time, as it was gone by morning. This rash has come back again every 3-4 days for the past 3 weeks. About 2 weeks ago, my son began developing the same type of rash, but his is on his stomach and abdomin area. Can sore throat with mono later on lead to dry cough? German measles starts on face and spread downward. You have a mild fever of about less than 102. Swollen lymph nodes swollen in your neck, headache. Headache and stiff neck are signs of it too. If you think you have Rubella (German measles) or any type of contagious disease you should contact your doctor. I also started to experience itching all over my body (scalp, arms, legs) and noticed that the light pink rash on my arms was now also on my legs. I also started to apply lotramine to the red area on my penis and after a couple days seems to have helped but has not cured it. As of today I have yet to have any noticable lesions on my penis or on my mouth (not sure about in my mouth).
The day before my doctors appointment i woke up with a sore throat and around my lump had swollen all up, had a headache that went into my ear. and the lump was paiful all around it.
I go to the dr he looks at it and says its a cyst, take these antibiotics and come back i n2 weeks and i will remove it.
About 4 days after taking the antibiotics the swelling went away, but now the lump is alot bigger that it was originally before the swelling hit it.

This may be a viral infection. Is there any associated eye redness, sore throat, or enlarged lymph nodes on the neck?
Some viral exanthems or rash may present as reddish patches and may be slightly elevated and rough to the touch. Observe your child's symptoms. Measles, varicella and other viruses like parvovirus may present with a rash. If fever progresses and in the presence of eye redness, sore throat and swollen nodes, bring her to a doctor for evaluation.
Two days later I woke up with a sore throat and bright green mucus going down the back of my throat. The next day I went to the University health center where I tested negative for the rapid strep test. I went ahead and got the GC done as well just to be safe. The strep culture ended up coming back positive with strep group G and negative in the GC. I asked about my tonsils (which didnt seem to concern the doctor) had miniscule white streaks which I was told was just mucus caught in them.
i got exposed some 6 weeks ago and started PEP in 24 hours but at towards week 4 i started to have sore throat,which disappear in the night usualy and come back during the day and the sore throat has caused my neck to be tense,its been almost 2 weeks now with the sore throat but at times in those two weeks it goes off for even 2 days and come back again usualy day time.i dont have rash and dont remember having any fever,can this be a symptom of ARS?
