BAM huge nasty rash on my neck, my face is all red and blotchy, and I can hardly touch my neck without wanting to scream. I can't think that it is the hotel water or towells because this also happens when I travel to my family's house out of state, and literally ANY place I sleep that is not my own home. However if I happened to move to another house I would still be fine. Even if I spend the night at a friend's house in the same town with the same water it happens.
org/hiv-rashes-on-face. However, from what I read, the HIV rash is supposed to generally spread. I only got some rashes (not too much) on my neck. I also have sore throat and slight diaherra, but no fever. I am wondering whether this picture in the blog looks like typical ARS rash? I also read somewhere saying that fever is always accompanies with rash or sore throat, is it correct? I know symptoms are meaningless, but please forgive the upset heart.

It is sometimes red, sometimes pink, and sometimes dark red, There a small bumps too, but they can only be seen with a magnifying glass.

Hi, Are you on any medications? The neck rash could be due to several causes. You would need to see a skin specialist to rule out eczema, sweat dermatitis, heat rash, acne, folliculitis, etc. You could take some oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications like loratadine or cetrizine and see if it helps with your symptoms. Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions to help soothe the itching. What other symptoms are you having? Since when have you noticed the lesions?
I have been to the dermatologist, had skin tests done etc. The rash is tiny itchy red bumps, only on my face. They seem to have clear fluid inside, but are very tiny. They sort of rise to the surface a bit red, they itch, then when I scratch them, the fluid comes out and they sort of go away. THe doctor said they are not hives and that it is a contact dermatitis. I am only using products I know I am not sensitive to from the patch tests that were done.

I think that what it is, is also swollen more so behind my left ear and that the one with the most itchy rash on it. I have a rash on both of my elbows. About a week ago, I had poison ivy on my neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs, but not on my elbows. I was prescribed Kenalog Cream, which reduced the poison ivy to basically scars. I thought I was bitten by a bug on my elbow a couple days later, and it went from looking like a bug bite to looking like the attached picture. Some of the raised, red welts have a small dark mark in the center, some don't. Is this still Poison Ivy, Oak, or Sumac, or something else?

Its been over a year and a half since this strange rash started on the back of my neck. It is localized to the neck area only- At first it became red and extremely painful with whiteheads located throughout, but within a few weeks, it seems to recede. I have seen two doctors for it and been given different types of topical medications, but it has this strange habit of returning and flaring up when I get stressed or I become very sweaty.
I have a rash that appears under the skin on my neck without any visible redness and with only a minimal amout of itching. I also have a tremendous amount of itching throughout my scalp. I'm constantly scratching. This has been going on and getting more intense for several weeks. My Mother claimed when I was a child the doctors said I had an allergy to my own hair. I have actually aloud my hair to grow longer than usual in the past year. I've changed shampoos and soap without any change.
Recently, I have been waking up with strange bumps on my neck that look slightly like hives but there are only two (close to the base of my neck) along with redness at the top of my chest (also close to the base of my neck) it itches very much and it has been on and off for several weeks. I usually wear rope and silver necklaces and scarves, all of which i have stopped wearing when i first noticed this problem weeks ago. The problem still persists and the redness and itching stays.
It starts out as a tingling feeling that develops into a red rash on my forehead, cheeks. and neck (some areas on my face will have one or two small raised marks that appear to look like scratches). I will also have a red mark in the middle of my chest. This rash will last up to 20 to 30 minutes and then dissapear. It starts out as a tingling feeling that ends up itching and burning(like a sun burn). It is also not a uniform rash.
Five days ago she woke up with a terrible red rash around her neck. The one necklace is silver so I had her take it off. I thought it might be an allergy. I am allergic to certain metals and so I thought maybe she could be also. I gave her Zyrtec that she usually only needs during allergy season. That didn't help and the next day the rash was worse and driving her crazy cause its so itchy. I had her take off the other necklace and then shower and we tried the Zyrtec again.
