Itches really bad, burns and sometimes weeps a clear material. Is very dry..flakes a liitle bit and is painful and uncomfortable to have clothing touch it. It burns when water gets on it. The skin feels leathery when its touched.

it typically ocurs on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet but can ocur in other places also. It also can vary in appearance so don't rule it out if the pics don;'t look like yours. But most pictures I found look like a symmetrial rash of small circles (copper or reddish color). Why not go and get tested. That's the only sure-fire way to know, especially since syphilis is commonly referred to as the "great imitator" --self explanatory.
My 9 yr old daughter broke out in hives (according to her doctor) after 7days of augmenton taken for strep. It covered her whole body even palms of hands and soles of feet. After two days of no med. it seemed to ease up and some went away. But now after 4 weeks there are still many spots mostly on her torso and upper limbs. They look dry and scaly and still itch slightly. The doctor said it could be Pityriasis Rosea, but she has had no mother patch. How can it go from hives to Pityriasis.
Anyway I don't know what stage I am, go to see the specialist on 9/01. But I have this rash...little red bumps that were on my right arm. Went to my doc and he gave me a cream. But now I have what looks like small bug bits on my chest and left are and everytime I itch them it's like the blood vessels around them break. It's gross. Has anyone had this???? HELP!
I had some rash on my hands after the 1st week, It lasted for 2 weeks and then cleared. I guess you need to keep an eye on it. Try the recommended cream and see how it goes.
These are my hands as of today.. this has been going on for months now, and it usually rolls around during the winter time. It may be dry skin, but I use lotion and whatnot. Please help. This is really really embarrassing for me, and would appreciate any feeds backs as far as what lotions or treatments are good. hi im only16 years old and i have them mainly on the back of my hands, on my fingers, and on my feet they itch like crazy and when they pop it really hurts and clear liquid comes out it so gross. Do you have any idea what it is or what cases it?
I've been washing with plain soap and water, pouring alcohol on it and using a lotion with mint to help with the itch. The rash on the right hand is now kind of dry and scaly probably from the alcohol. It looks simply terrible and I don't have the money to go to a Dr. let alone fill any prescriptions they might give me. If I can find out exactly what it is, I would rather try the homeopathic natural cures first. I'm a 48 year old female. If you need pictures, I can do that.
It did, however, trigger a bunch of other stuff, including these weird red rashes on my hands and forearms that come and go. Mainly they occur at night and disappear after I sleep and wake up. I've had them since last August, through the winter, too (so it doesn't seem to be related to heat, at least not to heat only). This year I've traveled twice--once to Mexico, once to China--and both times the rash has been out of control.
i have red joint rash on hands- fingers, elbows, and knees. they come every once in a while and they just go away after a week or so,but now they not going away. i need some help. cuzz i cant go to the doctor.
I've had blisters form on my hands for about 5 years now. I have heavy sweating, especially of the armpits and hands. I've gone to the doctor, he merely looked at it and prescribed an antibiotic and said he *could* offer steroids but did not recommend it but I pushed him for it. The steroids cleared it up (oral) quickly but they are back. The last 2 outbreaks have been really bad. My hands just won't stop sweating.
he also hav them on his elbows and knees also on his hands the worst.talk to your doc about dermatitis.i hope this helps some.and i hope by now you r better.good luck and god bless u.
Hello, Over the last two years, I have developed some form of rash on my hands. These rash start as painful redness on my hands. Typically within a few days, they have tiny red dots in them, which are painful to the touch. Eventually, they turn a brown or rusty-red color, and the skin above them dies and flakes away. When this happens, you can actually separate the coagulated blood off the dead skin flakes.
Hello, I have posted few pictures below of the rashes. The rash started about 2 weeks ago, as few little things. Now it has spread around my body, (Chest, Behind (1) knee, on both thighs and now both of the top of my hands. The rash does not itch at all and I am not in any pain. It does not affect me in any harm expect that its growing and more are popping up everyday now. The rash will start as a little red dot, very small and then will grow. The rash is not circular as you can see.
also i shave of course my armpits and no rash is there. the 'rash' has continued to get worse on both arms and hands. its unbearable - esp with doing dishes and cleaning - so of course i use cotton lined gloves. again-thank you for all the info and i will check out the websites.
My husband has this rash on his entire body. Legs, feet, arms, chest and alot on the back. They are small flat and some raised, dry, red bumps,2of them had yellow in the middle. he has had them for 2 or 3 weeks. he has been on an antibiotic for 6 days and has been using a cream called fluocinonide. nothing seems like its going away. he thinks its contagious, but know one in the house has it. what could it be? he does not have a fever or anything else. he does not have the bumps in his private area.
My Rash Pictures now on my profile. Dermatologist raised the Hydroxyzine hcl to 25 mg QID, Doxepin to 100mg at bedtime. I am still to use the Triamcinolone Cream BID. I will be getting the medical marijuana pills. I learned: The rash looks different on different parts of your body. Drink a lot of water everyday because not only do your TX. meds dry you out, the antihistamines dry you out and the rash runs hot and you evaporate fluids too.
I woke up day before yesterday with bumps. They kinda itch and the ones on my hands kinda hurt. Scrotum has some too.. dont know what came from.. pictures http://public.fotki.
I've been treating it with an over the counter First Aid Antiseptic with itch relief. Just yesterday I woke up with sores on my hands and fingers. The same sores are on my feet, elbows, ankles, and knees. They are small and red and focus mostly on the joints. These sores are very painful and feel like blisters. What are they and what can I do about them. I can't go to a doctor, because I have no insurance.
I am a 50 year old male and just started getting a rash on my fingers and hands after sun exposure at age 47 or 48. It is always in exactly the same locations (top inner sides of upper middle fingers, top of hands-especially the areas closest to thumb and forefinger. At first I thought it was an allergy to the sunscreen. So I tried not using any. Didn't help, but didn't seem to make it worse. Interesting note related to the previous post about South African sun...
It has been 2 weeks now and I am still the same. During the day I occassionally have tingling on the skin on my hands normally on my thumbs and palms, but never my feet. During the evening when i sit to relax in the livingroom my hands become blood red and burn with immense heat and are very itchy. I keep still for about 20 minutes not itching it and it will eventually subside to a bearable tingling.
A few weeks ago, he started getting the SAME rash on his hands (water blisters on sides of fingers and in webbing of fingers). We both started working new jobs so at first I thought perhaps my boyfriend was experiencing contact dermatitis. He has been experiencing intense itching (I have also) it seems to be worse at night. I itch on my arms and hands, he itches in his genital region and stomach as well as hands.
Doctors know nothing about what is happening. Now, I have a very itchy rash on top of my hands and on my breasts. There is no hope. To alliviate the situation use the mint detergent to bath with, use sulphur cremes and taka alot of Benedryl pills/creme to sleep. Its here to stay!!!
Soon after my surgery I began to develop a cracked dry skin rash on my thumb. I was outside in the sun and dry air a lot because both of my boys play baseball so I just assumed it was caused by that. On July 4th, I could no longer take the pain of the crack constantly splitting open everytime I moved so someone suggested I get liquid bandaid. I used that for a while thinking that eventually it would heal and the dry cracked skin would go away.
