rantindine is safe during pregnancy, i have been on it with this one and with my son, dont know about the others but rantindine is basicly generic zantac and is safe=)

Ranitidine is just the generic form of Zantac and I am on the same thing, also 150mg, and it is considered safe during pregnancy. I believe my doctor said it was like a Class B (for pregnancy) which is one of the safer things to use, anything below Class A or B is considered a little less safe, if I understood him correctly lol. Well I was on omeprazol and my OB took me off because it wasn't super safe and tested during pregnancy! But the doctor that confirmed my pregnancy told me it was fine. I think that there are some medications that are on the edge (like zofran) and had many different opinions. I always choose the natural route during my pregnancy though and I've suffered with GERD or acid reflux my entire life!

Over a year ago i was given ranitidine for the treatment of GERD. In my first pregnancy I could get heart burn from drinking milk.
