You should talk to your doctor again and see if he can tell you what the gastritis is caused by because if you don't have H pylori anymore then you shouldn't have gastritis. The treatment for gastritis depends on what is causing the gastritis. I have not had gastritis before.

I am 36 weeks tomorrow. I have had problems going to the bathroom my entire life. I'm used to being constipated and having to push to go #2. But due to being pregnant and a certain medication I'm on, the constipation is much worse. It gets stuck and I rip and bleed almost every time I go. And I can only go every 5-7 days or so. With 2-3 of those days trying to go. Btw, I do take Colace everyday. So my fiancé suggested I drink a bottle of citrate.

Now i am doubtful that i am pregnant as i removed my copper T recently. A few years ago my doctor put me on 75 mg Ranitidine to take twice a day before meals. A couple years ago he also put me on 20 mg Omeprazole to take once a day for 14 days, after which he said I could start taking the Ranitidine again if i still had the heartburn.

Another thing that surprised me is that I remember taking pepto bismuth and it would make some difference. I read that pepto bismuth, activated charcoal and gas x are all good . I think I will follow a low sulphur diet and see if it helps. Joint pain is also a symptom which I do have and doctors has said it is not arthritis. I have been taking 1 magnesium citrate 200mg at bedtime for approximately 1.5 weeks. I do have a history of headaches, but since I started taking it, I am waking up with severe headaches which seem to last 3 to 4 hours. The only other thing I take is a B6 vitamin. the product i bought has 530 mg of citrate magnesium with Vitamin B6 125 mg. in the prospect it says you can take up to three capsules a day... What confuses me is that 530 mg of magnesium citrates is equivalent of 47,6 mg of "elemental magnesium". i have read that regular dosis of elemntal magnesuim is approximately 200 mg.. sooo...

Please help. I’m on ranitidine 300 2x’s day. This has been months daily worse. Thought I had kidney stone. Ck’d no Stones. Pain under rib. Pain is from under left rib to kidney. I am gassed up, with loose stool. I have slimy discharge anally. I’m wondering if it’s the ranitidine causing. Urologist has no clue. Reg Dr wants me to have colonoscopy. What is is, what do I do. I might go to area Hosp. ER tomorrow. Tied of constant pain. Father had cancers. My PSA was high recently. Please help.
ve never been officially diagnosed, just something my GP thought might be bothering me and prescribed me ranitidine... long story short, the ranitidine worked fine (150 mg/2x a day) and I was symptom free within 24 hours. Flash forward to 5 weeks ago, I thought I was developing a bit of a chest cold with some chest tightness. Figured the cough would come along later... funny thing, it never came.
