Taking Diltiazem, Lisinopril, Aspirin and Ranitidine as well. Have been having constant stomach and chest pains and the doctors are not able to find the cause- at least they don’t think it is a cardiac one./the chest pains/ My gastroenterologist suggested I stop taking Ranitidine and switch to Pantroprazole. I have read a lot about the interaction between Plavix and PPI’s but he thinks only Omeprazole have more effect on Plavix, not Pantoprazole.
again, I took feledine,an antiinflammatory for chronic back pain. I developed a severe reaction. Currently I have been taking zyzal, ranitidine and predisone in the morning and then take predisone, raitidine, singular, hydroxyzine and allegra in the evening. I am growing more and more concerned. Is this ever going to pass? I reviewed a reply asking if I had taken asprin or anything (feledene) within a few days prior to having the flu shot. I'm not sure, but could be a possibility.

I'm delighted to see that the new trackers are up. Here are some thoughts. EXERCISE TRACKER For starters, I've just opened this up and it's lost yesterday's data. It's great that it includes "moderate" and "vigorous" exercise (for the stationary bike); could you add "gentle"?
About a year and a half ago one Sunday afternoon I started burbing and it smelled and tasted like rotten eggs. About four hours after it started I began to have severe diarrhea. About the fourth bout of squirts, I had to grab the garbage can because not only was I squirting but at the same time I was also puking. Bear in mind the rotten egg burbs did not go away. So I go to bathroom grab the garbage can squirt, puke, burp, wash my hands real good, then go lay back down.
When we got home I couldn't stop throwing up violently every half hour to the point of uncontrollable dry heaving and couldn't keep any liquids down, and we were worried someone had spiked my drink, so I went to the hospital and they gave me Gravol and a throat/stomach numbing liquid, and the doctor prescribed some Ranitidine and said I wasn't drugged or anything. The ranitidine made me feel better, I didn't drink really to begin with so I cut out alcohol completely.
Hi, Naproxen is naproxen sodium and does not have aspirin. You need to take anti reflux medications like before - you could also try to sleep with the head end elevated to prevent reflux. Avoid alcohol, smoking and processed foods as these cause a worsening of the GERD. Topamax or topiramate will help to decrease the frequency of the attacks.
Warfarin (Coumadin), Clopidogrel (Plavix) and Aspirin. It may also interfere with the action of drugs that reduce stomach acid. I've also experienced a pressure and eye irritation in the back of my eyes. I've tried taking Pepto Bismo and laxatives, but these are just temporary relievers. What might be the cause?
Do you avoid NSAIDs and aspirin? Do you eat frequent small meals instead of eating large/heavy meals? As you likely know GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease) and headache can often be associated with one another. Are you experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety? If so, this can be a trigger of both increased acid production and headache. Also, if you have allergies, symptoms of GERD can be aggravated, so you may want to go to an allergist.
The nausea has started to be constant the past three or four days. Omeprazole and Ranitidine do not help. Appendix is not tender, no fever, no rebound pain when pressing McBurney's point. I do not take aspirin or other painkillers regularly.
I'm also scared because the 10 days of Losec has run out, and I had trouble sleeping from gas and heartburn last night - the specialist wouldn't renew the Rx, and I'm not sure whether to seek a second opinion about Losec and the ERCP, and if so, whether to return to my GP or see the surgeon who did the cholecystectomy. Also, I had heard that crystals or stones could continue to form in the liver even if the gallbladder has been removed - is this true? Any input would be appreciated!
Also take a healthy, balanced and nutritious diet consisting more of fruits, salads, soups and raw vegetables(after proper washing). Also increase the protein content in your diet instead of carbohydrates and fats.An advice from a dietician will be helpful. The pain lasted for about 8-10 hours with brief periods where i would think the pain is gone, but only to find out that it is back.. The next day i felt kind of bloated and i mostly ate soups and salads and made a visit to my internist. The internist did some questioning and tapping on my tummy and told me that it was the case of damage to my intestinal linings and prescribed me some Ranitidine. I have been on it since and did not have the episode until yesterday.

Would get diarrhea 3-4 times a week and would get random heartburn. In November of 08 I started having the worst heartburn of my life. Would be constant for 24 hours. In December, I had some blood work done and found out that I am allergic to: Wheat, chicken, corn, oranges, and tomatoes. Since then I have cut out these 5 foods out of my diet. My Diarrhea has gone away and so has my heartburn. My only concern is my stomach is constantly gurgling and making funny noises.

My grandfather is 84yrs old, he said he is experiencing some abdominal pain and assume it is some reaction with acid reflux? I explained to him that with his age and other medical problems, it could be a number of issues. He has prostate, high blood pressure, and acid reflux that he is being treated for as we speak. But he explains that the acid reflux is what he is assuming is the reason behind his newly shown symptoms.

When you get chest pains, make sure to take an extra strength aspirin just in case. I myself get chest pains and have normal EKG. EKG will show if there is anything going on and an echocardiogram will show how your heart it working. Some symptoms when having a heart attack are chest pains, pain in the arm, sick to your stomach, sometimes the back even shakes or vibrates. You may want to ask your doctor about an echocardiogram if only just to put your mind at ease.
Last week I took a tylenol instead, and one pill of ranitidine. The purple spot appeared again. Which of these drugs would have cause the purple spot, do you think? What can I take instead for headaches? Also - could this be related to an exercise allergy - when I walk a lot lately my thighs get hive like reactions - could be laundry detergent though? And I am not sure is consumption of spinach or broccoli could be related? Thank you for any advice you could provide.
