Can anyone tell me if their are any side effects from taking Levothyroxine,i am on ...50 MICROGRAMS, per day,,,18mths ago i started with Excema,,i also have a cough now and then sometimes i wake up at night coughing ,,I am also taken 5MG Ramipril per day ............Could it be the Ramipril ?????

I am confused by the drug RAMIPRIL. The leaflet in box and details in British Formulary list WEIGHT LOSS as a side effect (I have lost 6 kilos). On the Internet there are many letters regarding weight gain but nothing about weeight loss. Why is this?

Ramipril is very capable of causing serious side effects including raising bp. It raised mine by over 80 points. The side effects of this drug can happen immediately or after a long period. Also I would question it's use in kidney disorders of any kind as it can damage kidneys and cause stenosis. Check out as much as you can about safer alternatives. As is common these days many GPs are unaware of the potential for damage that these drugs have.

I had to stop taking ramipril 1.25mg after a week due to various side effects. thurs I had severe shaking or chills etc. so stopped it on advice but 4 days later feeling bit better but I keep feeling funny. its like my head feels funny and the feeling like your lightheaded - going to faint or collapse but not quite and doesn't go away.

My cardio gave me some samples of 10 mg coreg to take once a day and a prescription to fill if the side effects from the metoprolol do not get any better. The side effects from the metoprolol have gotten a little better - I don't feel as exhausted, though as I type this my heart rate is 52 bpm. Plus when I go walking I can't get my heart rate above 95 bpm. Does any one have any comments on the pros and cons of carvedilol versus metoprolol?

m on Ramipril 5mg od, 81m ASA od and was prescribed Atenolol 25mg qam. Since reading the side effects I am very nervous to start this med. I love to run but am I at a high risk for stroke if I don't start this? BP readings are well controlled. Can I productively run,swim and bike still?

5mg everyday, for to treat the diabetic nephropathy, i can get ramipril in my town but its 5mg ramipril capsule in the chemists, and his medications are over, so should i let him take the 5mg ramipril? my big concern is would the dose cause hypoglycaemia or any other effects as the dosage will be double the dose hid doctor prescribed? please help me on that, i will be grateful...thank you.

With all blood pressure Medications, you will get tons of Side effects ! Toprol is one Nasty medication, that packs a punch ! I was on it for over 6.5 years straight ! it was bad !! Zocor is for lowering cholesteral down - however it too has bad side effects.. combined you must be in a living hell ! the daily Confusion , and focus and not being Alert - is a toprol side effect for sure ! Hows your Hair.. has it thinned out yet ? and have you Gained any Waight yet ?

One other thought, sometimes statins can have side effects I see she is taking Crestor and Ramipril check out thats not the cause .

It can take a few months to separate disease activity from treatment side-effects unless its something obvious like Copaxone welts. do all of these crappy (literally) side effects EVER fade??? ive only been on the combined treatment for a month now....it just seems to b getting worse...the vomitting, crapping, fatigue,body aches, head aches, raw throat and mouth....i just hate to ask my docs for all kinds of meds....just wondering if it gets better closer to the one year marker????

doctor prescribed some medicines which includes baclofen, ramipril, clopidogrel,amolodipine , atenolol, atorvastatin and escitolopram. after taking medicines her pulse rate has gone to 45-50 range and blood pressure is still 160/120. I'd like to ask why pulse rate is going low..is it due to side effect of medicines..

My mother just had her 1st shot of Lucentis. She has a small leak. She is also on Glaucoma eye drops. She is experiencing extreme fatigue and she said her thoughts/memory seem fuzzy. I started noticeing side effects at about 8pm, and they continued till this morning. I'm glad your BP is coming down. You were dangerously high and, actually, I hate to say it but you still are considered hypertensive. they will want to continue to lower your bp. I started bp meds the beginning of December. I noticed I felt very strange on the meds including dizziness and chest pain. For me, they were side effects of the medication. With your BP still being high, I'd check with the doctor. What medication did they start you on?
