ramipril and mouth ulcers

5mg everyday, for to treat the diabetic nephropathy, i can get ramipril in my town but its 5mg ramipril capsule in the chemists, and his medications are over, so should i let him take the 5mg ramipril? my big concern is would the dose cause hypoglycaemia or any other effects as the dosage will be double the dose hid doctor prescribed? please help me on that, i will be grateful...thank you.

Welcome to our Forum. The ulcers you describe are not related to your sexual contact 4 months ago. The only STD that might cause the sort of recurring ulcers that you describe is herpes and your symptoms do not fit with HSV.

I have completed 19 weeks treatment on interferon and ribavirina, I was virus clear within three months and results are good but its tough. For last three years , he has been having acute mouth ulcer probems. He gets around 2-3 ulcers frequently. In a month he possibly will have 20 days suffering from this problem. I had an exposure more than 8 months ago and tested at 19 weeks and at 28 weeks and both were -ve. over the past few weeks I have been suffering from Mouth Ulcers under the tounge. have been feeling some new neurological symptoms on my right side (previously only on my left side), feeling more tired again and have developed mouth ulcers (not oral thrush). m 35 weeks today, the past few weeks my tongue has developed these little ulcers.. ALL (ob, family and dentist) my doctors say they are normal with pregnancy and will go away on their own.. Yes they are entirely inside the mouth and usually small, going away quickly but annoying and painful!! They are also not the biggest deal as long as I don't have bigger things to worry about. I thank you for your comments and for putting my mind at ease.

Don't worry. I have mouse ulcers all the time. Well, not all the time. Sometime one in 3 months, sometime 3 in month. Doctors don't know actualy what causes this condition. They beleive it can be caused by stress and/or injury (like if you have habit to byte your lips), not enough sleep, poor food intake. When all this thing You put together (stress + injury + lack of goog sleep + poor food) you get low imunity which cause mouse ulcers. I have this ulcers since my childhood.

that is quite a high dosage of beta blocker and is likely to give the low pulse. Is the cardiologist aware of this pulse? The blood pressure medication is quite low and could be increased. Ask the Cardiologist if the beta blocker should be reduced and the Ramipril increased.

I am 32 years old man and have these white small ulcers in my mouth since I was just a child maybe age of 4 or 5. I visited doctors many times and recived my types of medications, but nothing could cure my mouth ulcer, it begains with one small white urlcer with lots of pain in all of my mouth and in few days it reaches to 4 or 5 in all ereas of my mouth even sometimes this goes deep to my throat and some times when this get very sever this associated with fever.

I am done with 21 injections but the side effects such as acute mouth ulcers and tongue blisters just dont seem to fade! Its pretty severe at times. Is this is a common side effect? I have kidney failure (Gfr generally between 40 and 50 but recently closer to 40), and also crohns which has been in remission for years but has recently been shown to be very active. My problem is for about 12 months now I have been prescribed ramipril for my kidneys and high blood pressure, but in the last few months and weeks (it seems to me since crohns has become active) it is making me feel absolutely terrible.

I have never had a cold sore ever, and I am not getting them now either, just the ulcers. Is it possible to have herpes and only have ulcers inside your mouth rather than on your lips? Does this sound at all like herpes? Any help would be appreciated. P.S.

Hello everybody, I read a post by Ed which mentioned something about his tooth decay and heart medication. That got me thinking because of late ( well soon after my Heart Attack ) I have been having all sort of dental problems. Post MI my gums bleed ( the sink looks like a bloodbath! ) but more then that I have had two fillings, one cap and at least five visits to my dentist all in space of six months.
