I've had these dots on the back of my throat for about a month (Early May) and I'm not sure what they are. They don't really cause me any distress but it does feel like I have something in the back of my throat and I constantly feel the need to hack and spit. I also feel my breath smells worse than usual. I've been using some strepsils and they calm it a little but to no avail.

I have severe GERD ( my LES does not close properly ) and Iam taking DGL before meals and have started zinc carnosine since few days . I have lot of gas and burping. Iam on very low diet. My burping has reduced a bit but still I cant eat much and eat many foods. I tried L-glutamine two days back and had a lot of gas and burping for past 2 days. Not sure if it did suite me or not. I took this between meals that is 3 hours after breakfast . Did this cause gas? Should I take it with meals?

He also took a supplement of zinc-carnosine, which helps a lot to heal the stomach lining. Zinc-carnosine is inexpensive and worth trying. My son is much happier these days! He can eat anything he wants. Hope you get some relief soon!

Can my mom take 40 mg of pantoprazole instead of 20 mg of teva-rabeprazole because she is out of teva-rabeprazole. It is extremely dangerous to substitute one drug for another. Your mom needs to go back to the doctor who prescribed her the teva-rabeprazole and tell him or her that her prescription is finished. The other drug you're asking if your mother should take i.e. the pantoprazole is also twice the amount of the other.

t know if this will help but a while back I was reading a study at Pubmed about Polaprezinc used with interferon. It is zinc- carnosine and I think it has been studied extensively in Japan. One study showed it to enhance interferon treatment but another study didn't show it to make a difference in efficacy but there were many less gastro complaints with those using it. Jarrow has a version of this called Pepzin GI.

At first I thought it was stomach flu until I realised that my throat was feeling weird and I was getting air involuntarily popping at my throat. (I hardly ever burp before this.) The docter prescribed me with Omeprazole for 2 weeks.

I swear by zinc lozenges on the first onset of a sore throat. I'm only 5 Weeks pregnant and wouldn't you know it, I have the start of a sore throat. anyone know if it's ok to take the lozenges? I know, I know, I need to ask my OB but I don't even have one in place yet since I'm so early on.

Hi All, I am a 30 year old male suffering from obssessive thoughts, I had a stomach ulcers 6 years back and i use Rabeprazole 20 mg daily as a maintenance therapy, My GP suggested escitalopram (Lexapro 10mg) daily, after 2 weeks using the medicine i feel much better and my thoughts have come down, however 2 weeks into the medication i started having severe stomach burning sensation especially in the upper stomach behind the breast bone and the center of the rib cage, i recognise its the same fee

I am using MSM drops (which I make myself) and drops that contain l-carnosine. I use one drop of each three times a day and take the weekends off. (I prepare the saffron myself.) I dream of one day discarding my eyeglasses, but that is probably a dream. But who knows? I found only two studies on the drops and neither went beyond one year. I will continue the regimen until there is no longer any improvement. Two years? Three years? I have plenty of time.

I think it was, but the Dr. said she would let me know it there was a problem. I am currently on rabeprazole for a duodenial ulcer. Not working. I used to be on Prevacid for excess stomach acid, but stopped using it when I went on the rabeprazole. I have an appt. on Monday with Dr. and hope he can find a solution. In the meantime I am unable to eat and see no relief in site. Any suggestions? I am losing my mind !!

I do not know anything about Isotine drops. However, I have been using a combination of l-carnosine drops and MSM drops. In the period of one year my left eye improved from 20/100 to 20/50 and my right eye from 20/70 to 20/40. I am continuing the treatment in the hope that improvement continues. I am under the care of a retina specialist who is interested in my progress. At the outset I was told I needed cataract surgery. Now I do not.
