I am a 29 yr old male, had a superficial duodenal ulcer in 2005, My doc had suggested Rabeprazole sodium 20mg which worked well then, he suggested i use it when ever i felt stomach burning or nausea. I have been using Rabeprazole for 5 years now, was workin good, recently my symptoms were back and i started taking 2 doses 20mg each daily.
Hi, my mom was taking teva-rabeprazole 20mg and now she is out of them can she take pantoprazole 40mg now?
Tried Omeprazole 40mg, Pantoprozole 40mg, nexium 40mg, rabeprazole 20mg with domperidone, vocinti 20mg.
I was on omeprazole 10mg, then pantoprazole 20mg and then rabeprazole 20mg. in total I was on PPIs for 3 months.
I did change my diet to be more GERD friendly as advised by my dr, no acidic/spicy/oily food and no coffee/tea/chocolate/mint.
I also had an ultrasoundndone on my stomach, liver and digestive tract as well as a full blood test, thyroid was found to be normal.
I live in Japan and while my care is excellent, it`s sometimes difficult to talk to my doctor. I`m taking Rabeprazole 10mg but the recommended dosage is 20mg in the US. I`m tall and weigh more than the average Japanese person, though I`m not fat. I`ve been taking it for about 3 weeks and I still have the saliva problem but it seems a little better.
I also have allergies and am wondering if I should see an allergist about this problem, the saliva.
and he gave me some medicine such as Albendazole , LEVAMISOLE HCL BP , Secnidazole , nifuroxazide , Lactobacillus LB and Antacid ( Rabeprazole Sodium ) ... But after taking the medicine nothing has happened , STILL feeling really dizzy and i always have Tachycardia ... it should be noted that I the first time i had these Symptoms was when i was 15 years old and it took me 4 or 5 months to recover ..

thanks so much for the help. i went back to the hospital and did gastroscope test which shows that my stomach had some wounds. the doctor gave me RABEPRAZOLE SODIUM ENTRIC-COATED CAPSULE. I'm feeling fine now. thanks alot. Its not easy for us the foreigners here in China as far as medico is concern.
I saw the doctor a few times and he put me as GERD and aeroflagia and prescribed Pariet 20 mg (rabeprazole sodium) and I am bit better but just lying on my side in bed (carpet or futon is no problem) is enough to bring up the gases. I had intense noticeable heart beats sometimes before treatment- now lying on my side gives me noticeable heart beats but its not really unpleasant.
As for the cortisol, you did not say the dose. One normally take the bulk of the dose for day, of say, 20mg, on waking and then the 5 mg at 3pm. This way you mimic a normal a normal body. Taking it all the time is not optimal unles you have too like if you are sick.
Nausea is typically a sign you are not getting enough cortisol or not dosing right. Look up adrenal crisis. You are may be getting sick. You may need to up you steroid dose to cover the illness. Also up sodium.
Nothing I have seems to help much, I have been taking rabeprazole 20mg once a day for almost a month with no results, gaviscon doesn't seem to help at all, tums make me feel sicker; nothing takes away the pain and burning.I have lost almost 40 pounds and continue to lose weight.
As for testing, I've gotten an endoscope, multiple blood tests, ultrasounds, and am on my way to a colonscopy and an MRI very soon. I've been tested negative for h.
Hi All, I am a 30 year old male suffering from obssessive thoughts, I had a stomach ulcers 6 years back and i use Rabeprazole 20 mg daily as a maintenance therapy, My GP suggested escitalopram (Lexapro 10mg) daily, after 2 weeks using the medicine i feel much better and my thoughts have come down, however 2 weeks into the medication i started having severe stomach burning sensation especially in the upper stomach behind the breast bone and the center of the rib cage, i recognise its the same fee
I think it was, but the Dr. said she would let me know it there was a problem. I am currently on rabeprazole for a duodenial ulcer. Not working. I used to be on Prevacid for excess stomach acid, but stopped using it when I went on the rabeprazole. I have an appt. on Monday with Dr. and hope he can find a solution.
In the meantime I am unable to eat and see no relief in site. Any suggestions? I am losing my mind !!
Did the cardiologist tell you about the salt free, low sodium diet is a MUST!? No more sodium then 1600 mg per day. Maximum 2000 mg...Less is better….also one meal should not go higher in sodium then 600 mg. Don’t forget almost everything has sodium naturally. There are always first times, I never took any pills, hardly some for headache until age 54...... don’t worry to take them...they can adjust it if your BP goes down to much. I take 100 my Metoprolol ,20mg Altace and 20mg Lasix......
