Can my mom take 40 mg of pantoprazole instead of 20 mg
of teva-rabeprazole because she is out of teva-rabeprazole. It is extremely
dangerous to substitute one drug for another. Your mom needs to go back
to the doctor who prescribed her the teva-rabeprazole and tell him or her
that her prescription is finished. The other drug you're asking if your mother
should take i.e. the pantoprazole is also twice the amount of the other.
I am a 29 yr old male, had a superficial duodenal ulcer in 2005, My doc had suggested Rabeprazole sodium 20mg which worked well then, he suggested i use it when ever i felt stomach burning or nausea. I have been using Rabeprazole for 5 years now, was workin good, recently my symptoms were back and i started taking 2 doses 20mg each daily.
I sent an emergency query yesterday with regards to my friend who is based in India. He has been unwell since July. I was trying to seek some advise or opinion from a gastroenterologist or a knowledgable doctor who is here in the US since the gastroenterologist that is attending to his case in India is seeking other doctors opinion.

I took Pariet (rabeprazole) and it helped with the throat lump and gastritis. (However, I stopped taking it because I felt it slowed down my digestion and I was having a lot of abdominal distension - and still am (I am frustrated that has not yet been diagnosed).

I'm a 20 yr old (underweight) chinese female. I've been experiencing acid reflux for almost 3 months now. It sort of happened overnight with incredible stomach churning. At first I thought it was stomach flu until I realised that my throat was feeling weird and I was getting air involuntarily popping at my throat. (I hardly ever burp before this.) Hi All, I am a 30 year old male suffering from obssessive thoughts, I had a stomach ulcers 6 years back and i use Rabeprazole 20 mg daily as a maintenance therapy, My GP suggested escitalopram (Lexapro 10mg) daily, after 2 weeks using the medicine i feel much better and my thoughts have come down, however 2 weeks into the medication i started having severe stomach burning sensation especially in the upper stomach behind the breast bone and the center of the rib cage, i recognise its the same fee
hi over the past 2 or 3 weeks ive been experiencing naseau that lasts all day its alot worse when i wake up in the morning. i was givin pills by my doctor called raberazole which seem to help. but 3 or 4 months agop i was feeling the same way only i could eat non stop but now when i find myself eating its hard to because when i am hungry and i take one bite of something it feels like i have to pass it up but i dont.

I have been having this muscle twitches lately all over my body. Sometimes i get them in my arms, leg, fingers. It feels like there are bubbles under my skin bursting. I dont know how to explain. It happens for few seconds like 4-5 seconds. I get them 8-9 times a day sometimes more. I also get these sharp pains in my fingers sometimes. I have done a full blood test, a CT scan from my head, and couple of heart tests. They were all normal. Now im fearing i might have MS or something.
I was on omeprazole 10mg, then pantoprazole 20mg and then rabeprazole 20mg. in total I was on PPIs for 3 months.
I did change my diet to be more GERD friendly as advised by my dr, no acidic/spicy/oily food and no coffee/tea/chocolate/mint.
I also had an ultrasoundndone on my stomach, liver and digestive tract as well as a full blood test, thyroid was found to be normal.
I’ve been having stomach cramps for 5 months and a burning feeling in my mouth, tongue and throat. The burning only starts after breakfast everyday and gets worse after I eat or even after sips of water. I’ve seen 2 gastroenterologists and also ENT. Gastroscope showed bile in the stomach and mild chronic gastritis, but otherwise normal. Abdominal MRI and nasal scope were normal. I was then diagnosed with IBS but they cannot find the cause of my burning mouth.
Hello! My son is 4month 10days today. My son was born in indonesia and uptill 3months he had his vacvinations in indonesia itself. Since one month i have come to india for vaccation and his 4month vaccination for DTP- HIB and Polio is pending. I m concerned about getting him vaccinated here in india as brand for vaccination will be different from indonesia.
Is it ok if i get my son vaccinated with different brand in india?
