Question : Can my mom take 40 mg of pantoprazole instead of 20 mg
of teva-rabeprazole because she is out of teva-rabeprazole. It is extremely
dangerous to substitute one drug for another. Your mom needs to go back
to the doctor who prescribed her the teva-rabeprazole and tell him or her
that her prescription is finished. The other drug you're asking if your mother
should take i.e. the pantoprazole is also twice the amount of the other.
Currently my prescribed med i take are spironolactone 100 mg/day, bupropion 400 mg/day, domperidone 40 mg/day, rabeprazole ec 20 mg/day, arthrotec 100 mg/day, Trazodone 200 mg/day, ducosate sod 200 mg/day, and citalopram 60 mg/day. exlax is extra strength and i take two/day and the diurex is 200 mg and I take 1/day. Just a little history on me for such a short question I want to ask, but I want you to have all the info.

Hi All, I am a 30 year old male suffering from obssessive thoughts, I had a stomach ulcers 6 years back and i use Rabeprazole 20 mg daily as a maintenance therapy, My GP suggested escitalopram (Lexapro 10mg) daily, after 2 weeks using the medicine i feel much better and my thoughts have come down, however 2 weeks into the medication i started having severe stomach burning sensation especially in the upper stomach behind the breast bone and the center of the rib cage, i recognise its the same fee
I am a 29 yr old male, had a superficial duodenal ulcer in 2005, My doc had suggested Rabeprazole sodium 20mg which worked well then, he suggested i use it when ever i felt stomach burning or nausea. I have been using Rabeprazole for 5 years now, was workin good, recently my symptoms were back and i started taking 2 doses 20mg each daily.
we went again a few days ago and the doctor said those were making his chest pains worse.. so they put him on Rabeprazole 20 mg. ( they said it may take a few days)
Last night we drug him to the ER, and that was the most pain he has ever been in. They gave him 3 doses of morphine before he could even breathe properly and relax. His back was spasming terribly and his chest was really tight. they sent us home with a prescription for morphine and buscopan every 4 hrs..
I live in Japan and while my care is excellent, it`s sometimes difficult to talk to my doctor. I`m taking Rabeprazole 10mg but the recommended dosage is 20mg in the US. I`m tall and weigh more than the average Japanese person, though I`m not fat. I`ve been taking it for about 3 weeks and I still have the saliva problem but it seems a little better.

how many mg are you taking? How much is each pill? I'm taking 300mg 3X day. Morning, noon and before I go to bed. Are you also on estrogen? If so, they might want to decrease that just slightly. I think you are far enough along to take a pregnancy test. If it's neg, so then just try again next month. I don't know if it's pro-longing your agony, it depends on whether you are pregnant or not. How many days was your embryo (3d or 5d)?

Unless you're trying to get pregnant (based on your post I doubt you are) you need to be more responsible about sex and start using birth control as well as condoms.
Hi, My dog Karma is on Pred 20 mg started initial dose on 03/14. He is 12 yrs weighs 86 lbs and is a Staffordshire. He is taking them once every other day now. He is experiencing fatigue and muscle weakness. He can't get on the couch,his walks are real short, his hind legs give out occasionally when walking. His fell getting out of the cab of the truck the other day (no harm done) My concern id he will be on this med until June and I am worried about his muscles.

Severe centre abdomen pain. Often triggered shortly after eating (15 to 20 minutes after eating), though not always and sometimes happens without eating (maybe 10% of attacks). The pain does not go off to the right, does not go through to the back. It is a clenching / wrenching pain in the centre just under the rib cage.
The pain is intense to the point of causing fainting on occasion. It makes it difficult to breath.
I am going to go down to 2 pills a day (6 mg) from the original dose of 9 mg. I will work towards 1 pill and then off. After the first couple of weeks, the diarrhea stopped but I had a painful stomach for 3 hours each morning. My miracle doctor prescribed Benefiber, 2 tsp at bedtime and I am now perfect. I am very worried about what will happen when I go off of the drug completely. I will repost at that time to let you know what happens.
