Contraindications - Administration (FDA) has determined that generic levothyroxine and brand-name Synthroid and Levoxyl are equivalent. The FDA requires all drugs—both brand-names and their generic counterparts—to be proven safe and effective. Since generics use the same active ingredients and are shown to work the same way in the body as their brand-name counterparts, they also have the same risks and benefits.
One or the other. I find Naproxen the most helpful, as it works more quickly. Aleve is a brand name for OTC Naproxen. Tyelenol is in a different category. Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) are the ones you want to treat inflammation. Aspirin is also in this class. Again, only use one form of these and not all of them.
I am taking Quinapril and atenolol and one asprian a day I had open heart surgery in 1999 I never really had high blood pressure but my doctor said this was the normal for heart patients. I feel very tired all the time and have had some kind of chest pain that doesn't show any problems have had resent angio and stress test is ther mabe a better med.

Said it could be Atypical Angina that was causing the chest pain but no way to test accurately due to my age and said he he could not tell me it wasn't PAH.

Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? What do you guys use? I just want to save money but I don't want my baby to have to be soaked in it's poop and pee because I cut corners on diapers. Advice please!
ve been off and on clonazepam and alprazolam for the past two years and always used generic, but the other day I filled the brand name Klonopin instead and noticed quite a difference. I have insurance and the copay on my generic script is usually about $2-4 for the whole month and the brand name was over $200 WITH insurance.
Does anyone know of an insurance plan that covers these brand drugs to an affordable rate or any way to get a lower price on the brand name?
I've read all the comments here and today I called a refill in for Brand Name Klonpin...I've been taking the generic for years. I will post back and let you know if I feel a difference.
It is possible, Thyroid meds are funny, what works well for one does not work well for others, I was on (Generic) Levothyroxine for six months and my labs did not budge, then went to Synthroid (brand Name) and had better sucess, my endo claimed that generics were not as consistant as name brand. Pharmacy said they are the same? So the change may have made a difference, some times the fillers they use can cause issues also.
You could always go on the FDA website and see what durg classification it fas under for pregnancy. Congrats on you baby on the way!
Ah yes, the classic, "What the devil is this really all about?" episode. Its like I'm in a some kind of play and have forgotten my lines and besides, there's no one in the audience, anyway.
Is it some manifestation of anxiety? I dunno. Maybe there is something deep down in there that's telling you to do something meaningful with your life, or maybe its too much chocolate, I don't know.

So originally i had the name Tailyn && my mom chose the middle name L'orèal && my bf is letting me choose the name. But he told me recently that L'orèal is much cutter && i should switch it. Idk What do you think???
Pregnancy was HARD!! It was the toughest part and i had no idea how i could possibly get any bigger or if i would ever sleep again!
But there were really awesome parts too, like when they would both wiggle to get comfortable, it was so cool to watch and a really wicked feeling!

My 16 yr old son had a stent placed via catherter in his descending aorta to fix a coartation (restriction). He has also been diagnosed with a "mildly" dilated ascending aorta and bicuspid aortic valve (with a "trivial" gradient). One month after the stent procedure, he had a cardiac and head MRI which found nothing unusual. We await a stress test which will occur ~3 months out from the procedure, which we hope will allow him to return to competitive baseball.
