Hi! I'm just trying to do some research for my friend ... She's been on Quetiapine (an atypical antipsychotic) for about 2yrs, but previous to this she was diagnosed with borderline hypothyroidism. Suddenly, she has fallen really ill and blood tests have confirmed minor hypothyroidism (T3 levels around 9)... but the symptoms look like hyper!
I'm in the Uk and currently taking Quetiapine, Depakote and Lamotrigine. The Quetiapine for me was prescribed for rage and agitation, I don't feel any anti depressant properties from it, but it has saved my life. Lamotrigine was prescribed 7 weeks ago and I feel a lot better, I am doing things that I didn't think I'd ever feel I could do again. Nobody has ever specified what type of Bp I have, I have symptoms from across the spectrum, I have mixed episodes.
Hi there. I have had tachycardia for a long time which is normally around 120 bpm but last night I took my pulse just before I went to bed and it was at 150 bpm. This was at resting. I had an ECG a while ago which was normal. Also I have lost a bit of weight recently and can now feel my pulse in my abdomen just below the ribcage. I am 29, am taking quetiapine as without I don't sleep at all and weigh around 90kg. Just wondering if I should do anything about this?
On 2nd day in hospital sent to ICU and put on a vent going through detox. steady IV drip removed and now ativan is given every 4 hours as needed. Day 12 still on vent, still showing signs of agitation at times, how long will this last? 2 weeks on a vent, restrained to a bed. Anyone have similar experiences or can offer an medical advise. I thought things would improve after 10 days, off vent, able to communicate, but it seems their has been very little improvement.

What happened is that 2 years ago I was put on "stelazine" but It triggered delirium like symptoms so i was taking off from it but what the medicine triggered never went away. It triggered severe confusion, very poor memory, difficulty concentrating, change in personality, and also it made me unable to sleep, It also triggered mood changes. I wanted to ask my doctor this but i wont be seeing her for a while so I decided to ask here before I ask my doctor.

Listen, dear, this is NOT "just" a drunken stupor craziness, this is delirium tremens and that is LIFE THREATENING! That is not some moralistic comment by my, it IS!
Has any one reduced and successfully stopped taking quetiapine? were there any horrible withdrawal symptoms or return of symptoms? I am feeling scared I must say.

After fighting for months about his drinking my boyfriend finally decided to quit drinking alcohol. After not drinking for two days or so he got delirium tremens; hallucinations, sweating, tremors the whole works. Currently he is in the ER being treated and is slowly coming back to his old self. However, no one has told him as to why he ended up in the hospital, I figure if the doctors haven’t told him that I shouldn’t either.
Hi everyone, I recently got bad food poisoning from eating at a fast food burger place. 4 days ago, I ate a burger around 5pm and was feeling good until around 8pm when I got a pretty bad stomachache and felt nauseous. I ended up vomiting a little at first but it was a start to a whole night of vomiting and nausea. I vomited until there was bits of blood in the vomit. So I told my mom to take me to the emergency room.
I know before 34 weeks something like that they keep babys in icu .im 32 weeks 2days due in jan 6th but I have a feeling this baby will come in another few weeks I'm uncomforable, I'm dilated and have back pains unless I'm up doing stuff.
What is the lethal dose of aripiprazole, quetiapine and lamotrigine? Mix of them.
