yes, the worst is that i break my doctors trust, without even realizing until i see how stupid it was, i will tell him next time i see him that i will trust him in any decision from now on, and yes i was aware the overdose was far from it, but it still make me pretty broken.
Does anyone find serequel/quetiapine is helpful within stabilising there moods.. My psych keeps going on about it as bein helpful but I never found it helpful with my mood swings, but wondered if it was just a dose thing? She's reluctant to put me on moOd stabilisers because im a big overdose risk apparently.. Advice?
s got 2 docs (the GP treating the thyroid, and the mental health team prescribing the Quetiapine), but they don't seem to be communicating at all. Does anyone have any ideas? The symptoms just don't seem to make sense, and she's getting really scared.

I'm in the Uk and currently taking Quetiapine, Depakote and Lamotrigine. The Quetiapine for me was prescribed for rage and agitation, I don't feel any anti depressant properties from it, but it has saved my life. Lamotrigine was prescribed 7 weeks ago and I feel a lot better, I am doing things that I didn't think I'd ever feel I could do again. Nobody has ever specified what type of Bp I have, I have symptoms from across the spectrum, I have mixed episodes.
Has any one reduced and successfully stopped taking quetiapine? were there any horrible withdrawal symptoms or return of symptoms? I am feeling scared I must say.
If he's just taking hydrocodone, and not mixing with other drugs or alcohol, it would take alot to overdose. Especially if he has a tolerance. I would say its more likely he would need to go to the hospital for APAP toxicity than hydrocodone overdose. APAP (tylenol) is mixed with the hydrocodone and is not good for the liver in high doses.
Just tell him not to go crazy and make sure he doesn't mix with alcohol or other drugs (besides weed), and he should remain alive.
I am currently taking Lamotrigine, Prazosin, and Quetiapine. I have also been diagnosed with H. Pylori, I was wondering if I could take Prevacid with these other medications? I have tried everything else and this would be a last resort.

50 every other day for about 4 months, my panic got so far worse than before, so i wen to see a neurologist, he put me straight away on valdoxan and quetiapine 25mg, took only valdoxan for 2 weeks i had'nt been able to have a good night sleep, my doc said to take half a quetiapine at bed time but also gave me zolpidem, my ansiety is great that none of these make sleep well, my question is: are this the withdrawal symptoms of the clonopil and how long will i have to put up with them?
I take 20mg of celexa every morning for anxiety. Anyways when I go to the bars and drink alcohol, I get the worst mental hangovers that linger for 2-3 days. I'll be fine that night, but the next day I will have terrible brain fog/confusion problems no matter how hydrated I am or what I eat.. I have been drinking on weekends since I was about 16. I cannot remember if the hangovers got this bad before or after i started anxiety medication.. . Could this be due to the celexa?
To many xanax and to much alcohol will kill young or old. He needs help but he is young and most young people think they are invincible. Maybe you can get him to some na meetings or even a drug treatment center this will help him at lest he will no how to quit when he gets ready to quit. Treatment will teach him how to quit and he wont forget treatment.

how much seroquel, xanax, and alcohol causes an overdose. im qworried about my sister, she ha been prescribed xanax for 8 years now at 2mg a day, so her tolerance is well established. she is also an alcoholic. thankfully, she knows not to combine xanax while drinking, but what about the addition of seroquel? could she OD from the pill combination alone? would then the addition of alcohol just pretty much seal her fate?
She has been in the hospital 8 times, 4 in different states as she was going to concerts and overdose. She came back home and went to hospital 2 times. Two wks. ago she was admitted to intensive care unit from crack and alcohal overdose. I was sick at the time and not able to see her. 3 days later she signed herself out against Dr. orders and someone told me she was looking for crack last night.
any mind altering chemical is a drug. I think we like to say we are "clean" but if stop using vicodins or percs and still smoke pot or use booze we are not really clean.

The person I am referring to that died from OD of Fentanyl and alcohol is my dad. I have a voice mail from him that I saved from years ago and listen to it constantly. I called him almost everyday till his phone was shut off. I check his Facebook constantly and text him every once in a while, yearning for a reply. Although my dad was not young he still had a bit left to do in this world. when I see my friends with their dads, I get a pain in my chest.

Here is my story (and how it all relates to an aspirin overdose)
The last time I drank I was out of Vicodin (I used to drink and take pain meds, not bright I know... ) and was in a considerable amount of pain. I have been prescribed Vicodin for dental problems after a car accident.
Last week I overdosed from taking approx. 4mls of GBL (a prodrug of GBH) and alcohol. Although I was deeply unconsious for several hours and had dangerously low heart rate and blood pressure. I spent the night in intensive care but was discharge the next morning. Since then I have made a full recovery, but have experienced heart pains and arrythmia at random moments. These usually last a few minutes and there is no disturbance in between these attacks.
