puppy sneezing with mucus

This was never happend to me before, when I sneezed a mucus with blood and when I search it in google, others said that if you sneezed a mucus with blood, you must stop blowing your nose. Is it true?

Sometimes the mucus is a yellowish brown color. At times it has contained a small trace of blood. Along with the mucus, her tummy rumbles and makes all kinds of squeaky sounds (like IBS gas pains). She acts totally fine... Plays, runs around, etc. she is drinking fine. I took her to the vet the 1st time. I was told the mucus was her intestinal fluid caused by diarrhea. I was told to give her chicken and rice. After a day. She was ok. About a week later symptoms returned.

Hi, sorry you have this concern with your puppy. Has she done this since you've had her or is it something new? How long have you had her? Gee, I've never heard of this in Maltese or Poodles but I know a breed like a Pug can have elongated soft palates and collapsing tracheas. Does anything ever come out her nose, even a little, like food or water? I ask this because she may have (even a hairline) cleft palate. Has she been to the Vet or due to go in soon for shots maybe?

I have a 3 week old chuiaua mixed with a **** zu puppy. The only reason I got him so young is because his mom stopped feeding him and the others so i took him and started feeding him but i need some help making sure I'm taking care of him right. I have been feeding him wet dog food milked down with powdered milk. Hes only been pooping once or twice a day, is that normal or no?

i'm getting cold with severe headache once in two months.the headache will last for 4or 5 days. while i'm spitting out the mucus some blood coming out with the mucus. the same happens while sneezing my nose.what is the reason for this? do i need any medical checkup?

I let mine go way too long and it turned out to be pneumonia. As my doctor sayed, "you're one sick puppy". I'm in so much pain now and keep telling people to get IN to the doctor. I was waiting to have my insurance start and so I had something of an excuse yet now I'm homebound and if I don't rest I'll end up in the hospital. Don't let it get like this and especially not if you're pregnant.

Has your puppy been vaccinated with ALL his/her puppy shots? What does the mucus look like? Is it thin and clear or thick w/any green or yellow color? My first thought is your puppy has something stuck up in his nasal cavity....However, this also may be the beginning of a respiratory infection.... Puppies cannot go very long without nourishment & the symptoms you describe will only get worse.....You need to get him/her to your Vet ASAP and have your dog evaluated.....

As far as I know, dogs do not catch colds. But there might be something else wrong. There is nothing wrong with a dog's nose being wet. But if she is snuffling, sneezing, coughing or breathing in a strange way it's best you check her out at the vet's. Dogs can sometimes get foreign bodies lodged in their noses, like a grass seed, etc.

I've been having a problem with sneezing for quite a while now. I'll have fits where I'll constantly sneeze for 15 - 20 minutes at a time. The sneezing fits happen for no apparent reason and throughout the year and almost daily. Nothing that I have tried seems to help at all. Make notes as to what the weather is, the pollen count, etc., and how much she seems to struggle with the mucus each morning. Eventually you may see some correlations that will point toward a specific allergen that can either be eliminated from her environment or perhaps she can be given something to stop the body's response to this allergen that will help. I have a newborn puppy and his mother won't have anything to do with him. He was born yesterday and we have to hold is mom down for him to eat. Unfortunately we don't know how long to let him eat. But one day my throat started hurting when i swallowed, three days later i blow my nose and my mucus is VERY green but it was only once. The exposure happend on may 7th and I had no symptom till may 28th when i started sneezing then I started getting Sore throat, and cough with mucus follwed by a temp 98.9. just checked my temp and it was 97.6. This is kind of strange but every time any form of heat turns on my nose and sinuses go crazy. I work with our local humane shelter and we have two cats sneezing with a lot of yellow mucus. One has had it for several months and has gone through several antibiotics from several different vets and steroids as well. Nothing is working. Beautiful, pleasant cats but unable to adopt them out due to this problem.

I have had this for about 5 weeks now. It started with sneezing and runny nose (along with sinus congestion that is almost always present even before this episode).
