I lost all my pregnancy weight in like 3 weeks after she was born. I gained 35 lbs. I was pumping every 2-3 hours until my daughter could figure out how to latch on again.

Is anyone else pumping and really getting tired of it? After the hospital made him have a bottle he would never take the breast so I have to pump. I am really getting tired of it. Hello everyone I'm a second time mommy. I had my son yesterday morning. He's a premature baby boy. (35 weeks) I don't have no breast milk. I been pumping milk for 10 minutes each one. You can pump, that way you're getting breast milk, he's getting the nutrients he needs, and you may lose weight that way, is there a reason you don't want him to latch on?

You can give formula while pumping to breast feed but like others said it will be hard to keep up milk supply. Make sure to get the right pump, my first wouldnt latch so I had to pump but I lost my milk by 8 weeks and had to supplement with formula the whole time. Turns out I didnt have the right type of pump and didnt do it enough. I thought I would have problems having a baby breastfeed but my son did and I actually found pumping more awkward.
