Several months after discharge diagnosis (not by doctor who gave second opinion) amended to Axsis 1: MDD, in remission, r/o depression due to general medical condition (vestibular injury), adjustment disorder with depression/anxiety, partner relation problems, alcohol abuse.
It will often respond to medications such as Ibuprofen or Aleve. I usually recommend that my patients begin taking it at the first hint o symptoms and then continue through out the period on a round the clock basis. In other words don't wait until the symptoms are awful before you take the medication. There are also some prescription medications that might work if the OTC ones are not strong enough.

My doctor changed my medicine to another anti-psychotic, and my pupils stopped getting large.
So since 2 o clock this morning ive been having lower abdomen contractions and really bad back pain, it got to the point around 5 o clock i couldnt sleep they was coming that frequent and i was vomiting, after ringing hospital they said to wait till pain comes every 3minutes so at around 9 o clock i rung back and they told me to go in, at 10.

Well, I'm not sure about that. Antipsychotics don't work right away. Tranquilizers do. Antipsychotics, if they do work, work all the time. Tranquilizes only work for a short period of time and then wear off. If she took this as an antipsychotic injection, it would be during an emergency situation but she would have to take the shots for several months and then go on the medication for longer than that.
ve been diagnosed bipolar for about 2 years. I get horrible depression because of my bipolar. I recently had a really bad reaction to pot. REALLY bad. I almost killed myself, screamed at my friends, and vomited for 2 days. No one else that smoked it had a bad reaction. I haven't had a medication change recently. I'm on lamictal, seroquel, wellbutrin, cymbalta, and adderall. I don't know what happened. It wasn't laced or else everyone would have gotten sick.
A few thoughts:
1st, having an initial psychotic episode at 38 is unusual, so it is probably not something squarely in the "psychotic family" of conditions. It is possible (although unlikely) to have an initial manic episode after having previous depressive episodes.
There is information that link paranoid/delusional thinking with menstruation, especially with a history of intense PMS (it is sometimes referred to as premenstrual dysphoric disorder, PMDD).
I just recieved a print out of my mothers (49+years ) .beast usg report. Ill-marginated hypoechoic ,mildly inhomogeneous solid lesion measuring (1.92*1.45)cm approx.is seen deep within the mammary zone of at upper-inner ¢ral quadrant(11 o,'clock-12 o,' clock position)of beast.rest of the quadrants shows no obvious abnormality.no ductular Eurasia seen.no calcification noted.subcutaneous fat lobules appear normal.both nipple areolar complex normal.

I'm a 46 y/o male. I take 400mgs of Tegretol/day for control of seizures. Also taking 60 mgs of Cymbalta/day. Over the last several months I've noticed my left hand and arm are shaky when doing certain actions. Eg., when lifting a glass of water to my mouth. More recently, when I wake during the night and reach for the clock or a glass on my nightstand, my left arm and hand shake quite a bit. The shake is sometimes to the point where I cannot even pick up the glass or small clock.
Also there is a secretion of some pale yellowish fluid after the 24hrs of the medicine till the next day 12 o clock i.e. tuesday 12 o clock (19th july). I am having normal periods like i always have and the dates are also the same.
I havent done any pregnancy test till now
Pls suggest me what should i do.

I now know I always had behavior that was unusual and somewhat abnormal since I was a child, first started having psychotic thoughts when I was 13 and then at the age of 18 had a full psychotic break. I never really felt like myself until I started that treatment in clinical study but once I did could look back and see that I always had behavior patterns and obsessions that were markedly abnormal.
m not sure what the question is. Insulin injections and levels have absolutely positively nothing whatsoever to do with opiate addiction and the action of opiates on receptor sites.
Before sleeping close your eyes and vesualize a big clock.. visualize the hands of the clock 12 o clock.Than one ,tw9, three. four, five and six. Now return to 12 o clock position by counting the reverse thai is 6,5,4,3,2,3,2,1,and 12.Do this for two or three times. then give a suggestion to your self that you getting up at whatever time you want to wake up. I have done this in my young age.You may also learn some hypnosis from some expert.
I have become a mother late in life (I am 49) my boyfriend/partner is my age and his two kids are 13 (girl) & 11 (boy). Both the children are fearful and neither like to be alone. The girl still wets her bed almost every night and the boy will not go upstairs alone. He will not go to bed until the father goes to bed. Ironically, they all love horror movies, which could contribute but I think it is something more...
