If she took this as an antipsychotic injection, it would be during an emergency situation but she would have to take the shots for several months and then go on the medication for longer than that.

I haven't had a reaction to medicine for clearing up a sinus infection, but I definitely have had anxiety while having a sinus infection. I believe it s due to some of the symptoms with difficulty breathing, etc. Some of the symptoms mimic anxiety so your brain can get tricked then you over analyze your symptoms and it brings out some anxiety. The steroids could definitely be causing some extra anxiety as well.

I recently saw a new doctor who performed more blood tests and who ordered an MRI. The only abnormal thing with my blood work was an elevated white blood cell count. (I should mention that my sinuses/ears/throat have been bothering me recently, so it’s possible that the elevated WBC is unrelated to my other symptoms.) The MRI was performed this morning and the results were normal.
