Well, I'm not sure about that. Antipsychotics don't work right away. Tranquilizers do. Antipsychotics, if they do work, work all the time. Tranquilizes only work for a short period of time and then wear off. If she took this as an antipsychotic injection, it would be during an emergency situation but she would have to take the shots for several months and then go on the medication for longer than that.
ve been diagnosed bipolar for about 2 years. I get horrible depression because of my bipolar. I recently had a really bad reaction to pot. REALLY bad. I almost killed myself, screamed at my friends, and vomited for 2 days. No one else that smoked it had a bad reaction. I haven't had a medication change recently. I'm on lamictal, seroquel, wellbutrin, cymbalta, and adderall. I don't know what happened. It wasn't laced or else everyone would have gotten sick.
I thought it was safe but this came straight from a tattoo artist no its not safe to get a tattoo while your pregnant! but not because tattoos parlors are dirty the main reason is that because it takes white blood cells to heal a tattoo. so it takes away more from your already stressed out immune system, making you more prone to infections (staph, ink poisoning, etc) and sickness. plus youre more sensitive to the pigments in ink, making you more susceptible to an allergic reaction.
My concerns ware that though this was done at a proper shop and the needles were new and even the tube was from a sealed packet, upon finishing and getting wrapped up the tattoo artist applied a coat of wax for a tin.
D Ointment on the tattoo for two days after I got it upon advice from the tattoo artist, but I have not used any topical creams since then.
Basically, I am wondering if I should drive the 2 hours it would take me to see a dermatologist or if I should just let the rash spread and wait for it to clear up? I am also wondering about how long that would take (just so I don't keep worrying about it!) And of course I'd love to know what caused it in the first place (allergy to the ink?
Obviously dont do it close to ur tummy.. im not a doctor or a tattoo artist but i think its just risk of infection or possibly reaction to the ink. Might be best to wait til after u have the baby. And how far along u r could make a difference. I got a peircing while pregnant but i just watched for infection and now its all healed and all is well.

They itch a lot more when my foot gets hot, or if im in the sun. You cant see the bumps unless you feel the tattoo. A tattoo artist told me that it might be the red ink (it has mercury in it.) and some people have reactions to it, i dont want it to irritate me forever..
I dont wanna consult a dermatologist because I really dont have the means right now.
I suppose anyone can have a strange reaction to something but I've never heard of marijuana producing a psychotic reaction. People will have their underlying mood exaggerated by it, so if your son is anxious marijuana might make him more so. Much more so. And that can set off conditioned thinking, so such people should avoid it. But it sounds like something else to me or what you're describing isn't accurate, just an acute thing going on between the two of you.
As long as you trust the place and artist go for it get a new tattoo I've had two done since being pregnant and had no problems, the big risks r unclean tattoo parlours I have my own artist with a very clean place, just watch ur pain level while getting your tattoo take breaks if u need to!! Your not suppose to, most artist won't even consider it. The paperwork you fill out should ask you if your pregnant.

Ok, however even if an artist did reuse a needle and it came in contact with hiv the three month conclusive test still applies?
