i am taking anti-psychotic medications which seem to exacerbate my symptoms (they have neurological side effects). However, when i was a small child i had problems with pacing, sitting on the ground and pushing and rocking back and forth, and sitting on my butt and bouncing on the bed to the point that i broke beds and couches until recently. i have also had a habit of hand-clenching and have hurt my wrists several times from doing it.
First off, thank you to all who spoke up for me the other day. I needed a little reassurance.
In the doctors (pleural - my gp was told by the docs who work for the insurace company) defense, I have no sign, really, of organic disease. In order to explain my difficulties, they came up with somatization disorder.
I spent yesterday researching somatization disorder, all over the world wide web. I then RE-researched the neuropathic pain which brought me to them. You know?

What is a good birth control method for someone with bipolar disorder with psychotic features? My wife recently stopped taking Depo Provera, which I believe may have contributed to yet another psychotic episode->hospitalization. We don't want any kind of permanent solution (e.g. tubal ligation), but we need a reliable method and one that won't destabilize her once we decide to have a baby.

5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.

My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. This question is complicated by the fact that you apparently are psychotic. If you are, then you need to see your psychiatrist about this and perhaps change medications. A psychiatrist can also tell you what might be safe to take with this drug. Antipsychotics generally affect dopamine, and dopamine controls a lot of our motor functions, so it's often a cause of nerve problems or involuntary movements. If you're not in fact psychotic, you may be on too much drug for what ails you.
Sweating, anxiety attacks,hallucinating, rapid heart especially at night, paranoia, insomnia, staying busy, rapid impulses, fear of death and being alone, talking to god and seeing signs that arent there, i get a wierd nerve sensation under my forehead/nose sometimes after i eat. Hey guys,trying to get my taper game plan up and running. Have anyone of you had severe psychotic mood swings, or leg zinging pain with withdrawals. Mine don't ache like the flu, they shake and tremor with severe nerve pain and then stop. i havent' even tapered yet. I now know I always had behavior that was unusual and somewhat abnormal since I was a child, first started having psychotic thoughts when I was 13 and then at the age of 18 had a full psychotic break. I never really felt like myself until I started that treatment in clinical study but once I did could look back and see that I always had behavior patterns and obsessions that were markedly abnormal.
im sure it is! trying to conceive without PCOS is nerve racking so i can imagine loli dont have PCOS but had an infection that doc told me i wasn't able to conceive because i found out to late and i was devastated but kept trying anyway and now im 24 weeks :) so baby dust to you!!!!!!!!!
