my 22 year old son just experienced a psychotic break. I need to understand how he was feeling. Is there anyone who has personally experienced this, and would be willing to describe what you felt? I am desperate to understand what he is going through.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.
I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?

I now know I always had behavior that was unusual and somewhat abnormal since I was a child, first started having psychotic thoughts when I was 13 and then at the age of 18 had a full psychotic break. I never really felt like myself until I started that treatment in clinical study but once I did could look back and see that I always had behavior patterns and obsessions that were markedly abnormal.
I'm 29 weeks prego and this morning while stretching in bed I got a charlie horse in my left leg. Oh my gosh it was the most painful experience I had during this pregnant yet. Has anyone else
experience a charlie house during their pregnancy?
Woke up with the worst Charlie horse in my life. It started in my calves and pain shot up to my hamstring. Also it caused me to have some contractions just in my stomach not back. I can barely walk cuz it's still sore. Anyone experienced this during your pregnancy?
I'm 35+5 and two nights ago I woke up with the worst charlie horse . And my leg is still aching from well more like my calf muscle . only in my right leg.
My daughter was in aaccident where she was on her horse and another horse broke free from his pasture, came over, and kicked her horse. Her horsethen ran into a tree with her still on it. She went face first into the tree and was flung backwards with her feet still in the sturrups.she has sustained both her legs broken, multiple facial and skull fractures, a brain injury and brain bleed .
Okay so im getting really painful charley horses in my legs i can hardly walk it hurts so bad. My feet arr starting to swell (has never happened before) and im only 9 weeks. Anything i can do for them to stop? Thanks ladies.
How long has it been since the horse was treated/wormed and which medication was used? There are different meds, some are more effective than others depending on the parasite involved.
for about a little over a month now, during sleep, i awake with terrible pain stemming, from what seems to me, "charlie horse" cramps on both my calfs (both legs). this is now continously every night. terrible, terrible pain that awakens me. my choice of drinks is turkey hill peach ice tea. i am really drinking alot of this especially at night.
I have sever allergic reactions whenever I go near horses or anyone who has been near a horse. My symptoms are mainly chronically asthmatic, watering eyes, runny nose, red itchy patches on my skin and sneezing.
Unfortunately my wife works with horses and as you can imagine this is a big problem. There is no way she can avoid this as she is a professional athlete.
I have tried every kind of over the counter medicine and antihystamine and nothing works.
