i've been sober/clean for 24 years...have worked in the mental health field and currently worked in substance abuse.I've encountered many ppl with ur described issues..and there seems to be a great difficulty folllowing a treatment plan and changeing behaviors that elicit secondary gain.I'm pretty sure that whatever i say here will be met by u with tried it doesn't work...and a lot of anger and hopelessness.

When you are in a crowd of more than 4 & even family do you start feeling like your heart is racing out of control? Do you ever have times when you are over the moon happy & for no reason at all you feel like your going to cry. You anger is stronger now. The nervousness does it go from a chocking in your throat to a small shaking in your body?

I've got to say good job walking and weight lifting. Any type of activity is great. A certified trainer is a great idea. It decreases the chance that you will hurt yourself. I would find someone who specializes in pilates. Pilates involves a lot of exercises while on the ground. This will take a lot of pressure off your knees and back. It's amazing how strong you can get from doing bridge and modified plank poses.

On April 2nd I made the decision to admit myself to a psychiatric hospital due to a psychotic episode. The thing that I'm having the hardest time comprehending is if I induced the episode or not. I convinced myself that I was covered in fleas, I heard voices saying my name and calling me worthless in the past, & I experienced paranoia. I don't know what to think right now. I wish I could know if I made the symptoms worse or not...

I also found out that we are having a little girl!!! At first DH was a little disappointed because he had his heart set on a little boy but the idea of having "Daddy's little girl" is sinking in. I am currently 20 weeks. On Tuesday (March 24th) I will be 21 so I at my half way point and starting to breath a little easier. I actually purchased her 1st outfit.
