i've been sober/clean for 24 years...have worked in the mental health field and currently worked in substance abuse.I've encountered many ppl with ur described issues..and there seems to be a great difficulty folllowing a treatment plan and changeing behaviors that elicit secondary gain.I'm pretty sure that whatever i say here will be met by u with tried it doesn't work...and a lot of anger and hopelessness.

I have not had much time this summer to stop in and read the board or to just say hello. School started in Mississippi this week, so it is just the 2 yr old and I at home now. Things have been a bit crazy with my health, but looking for answers. Not sure if Gilenya is part of the equation. Then, I was rear-ended last week. Waiting to get my highlander back. Thankfully I was in the car alone, and I and the lady that hit me are fine. My neck is stiff, but no injuries!

I know this girl who is crazy!!! she will be all happy at first then every hour or so she changes, if you touch her she will grab a knife and she will say STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU ALIEN!!

Nothing much new here. Lauren talks like crazy now. She tries to say everything you say. And she loves books. We also got her a new puppy. A chocolate lab named Coco. She loves her. And she is an outside kid! Always wants to go out and play. I hope Ezra surgery goes well.

i just wanted to say hello and that i am expecting a baby girl on july 29 2008.

On April 2nd I made the decision to admit myself to a psychiatric hospital due to a psychotic episode. The thing that I'm having the hardest time comprehending is if I induced the episode or not. I convinced myself that I was covered in fleas, I heard voices saying my name and calling me worthless in the past, & I experienced paranoia. I don't know what to think right now. I wish I could know if I made the symptoms worse or not...

I also found out that we are having a little girl!!! At first DH was a little disappointed because he had his heart set on a little boy but the idea of having "Daddy's little girl" is sinking in. I am currently 20 weeks. On Tuesday (March 24th) I will be 21 so I at my half way point and starting to breath a little easier. I actually purchased her 1st outfit.
