Why did the doctor give you antibiotics? If there's no infection, and frankly even if there is, they can cause problems and they won't fix damage to an ear drum. Did you take her to an ENT or a regular doc? An ENT can look at the ear and tell you if in fact there's damage that won't heal. As any doc will tell you, don't let anything smaller than your elbow get anywhere near the ear drum.
I know this girl who is crazy!!! she will be all happy at first then every hour or so she changes, if you touch her she will grab a knife and she will say STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU ALIEN!!
ve had clinical depression/bipolar for a long time (and very intense childhood paranoia/OCD), and finally, after the worst year of my life (many medications, suicidal thoughts/disassociation/psychotic thinking, bad family/relationship problems, chronic health issues, and finally, drum roll....an almost fatal rare autoimmune disease), i became "gasp" happy.
Is pretend she's a drummer/soccer player and my body is the drum set/soccer ball.

jpg) , I am unsure if this is more wax buildup or a perforated ear drum, but I will not be using any more drops in that ear until I can be certain its not a perforated ear drum, she has no pain to touch, she is not complaining about pain, I don't see any redness or sign of inflammation or infection. She displayed zero symptoms and I am unsure if that is typical for a perforated ear drum. She can hear through that ear just fine as well.
I am supposed to be flying to the US in 2 weeks. I am aware that flying with a perforated ear drum is fine, however I am not clear on whether flying with an ear drum that is just starting to heal is fine or not? All the information tells me to watch out blowing my nose too hard because the pressure could cause the healing ear drum to blow again. Surely the same would apply to air pressure on flight ascent and descent if the ear is just healing?

Also from my own experience when there is pressure in the ears it has meant that I needed grommets - which is a little tube inserted into the ear drum to drain the fluid (pressure) from behind the ear drum ( from the eustachion tube). Normally only little kids get them but I got them for the first time when I was 24ys and once they fell out - I go them again when I was 26yrs and they release a lot of pressure!
my 22 year old son just experienced a psychotic break. I need to understand how he was feeling. Is there anyone who has personally experienced this, and would be willing to describe what you felt? I am desperate to understand what he is going through.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.
I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?

m left dealing with the side effects of having a tube put in my ear drum (and the ear drum not repairing itself). My hearing loss occurred after the surgery (despite having a hole in my ear drum, my hearing was normal) so it would be my guess that the ossicles were fine at least up until the first surgery. I have an appointment with my ENT on June 6th and will post an update. Thank you for your reply.
