Hi im a regular gamer and For some strange unknown reason i reticently had a Weird experience as my eye sight went completely white for about half a second but i lost my balance aswell. I used to have Eye problems not letting me look at anything bright or brightly coloured without getting intense pain. Is it anything serious?
My husband is an avid gamer and is also in the military. When he comes home I just want to spend time with him, but his idea of relaxing is playing is favorite online game. I have told him so many times that it hurts my feelings when he gets on his game because he makes me feel like I don't exist when he plays it. His usual response is, " well what else am I suppose to do? I don't like watching TV.

my 22 year old son just experienced a psychotic break. I need to understand how he was feeling. Is there anyone who has personally experienced this, and would be willing to describe what you felt? I am desperate to understand what he is going through.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.
I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?

But I have to balance how much I play because I am a serious gamer lol and I get frustrated and mad. But it helps me unwind from my stupid job.
In the past, I was a heavy computer gamer. As a result of always being in front of a monitor all the time with little to no breaks, it has now caught up to me. I have red blood vessels in my right eye and it seems like it's permanent.. it hurts when I don't get much sleep or am stressed out. This has been a great concern to me for the health of my right eye mainly, but ultimately both.
Help would be much appreciated..

I do, however, spend quite some time behind the screen of my laptop as I am a programmer/gamer. I tend to live by the 20 20 20 rule*, and take half hour breaks every 2-3 hours of screentime.
I honestly have no idea what it could be. I could find a condition called 'Nystagmus', but I feel it doesn't fully fit the profile of what I experience.

Im in the same situation except valentines day is more of our anniversary and its like we cant do much since im due right before. So by the time it comes we will have a new born on top of having our toddler so who knows what i will do. Just get him something he likes.
So im a Gamer and I play game all the time, But back in the Summer of 2009 my eye was ichy, Like really ichy so I rubed it then some days after that my eye was kind of swollen as i could feel it, but it would just not stop Twitching. So this is how my issue started.
Now I have a issue with the eye, when close my right eye and look at my left (Left is the bad eye) my computer screen looks more smaller than what it is, And when I look in me right, its bigger, What the hell?
I now know I always had behavior that was unusual and somewhat abnormal since I was a child, first started having psychotic thoughts when I was 13 and then at the age of 18 had a full psychotic break. I never really felt like myself until I started that treatment in clinical study but once I did could look back and see that I always had behavior patterns and obsessions that were markedly abnormal.
