Hi I posted on here before and got great answers so I'm back again. I've had ADHD since 14 but only took meds for a few year before I decided to try things on my own. Now at 26 I'm working full time, going school and being a single parent. Needing help to focus and with depression I went to see a pyschologist( I have medi-cal so theres only one available) He put me on 10mg Adderall three times a day ( he said 4 but I made the decision to only do three).
t really know how to use this forum thing, i just saw overdose so i clicked i recently took an overdose 2 days ago i took paracetomol prozac ibeprofen asprin and some other drug that i found i had quite a bit of each and i'm experiencing headaches shakyness fuzzy eyes tirness i was sick a little yesterday and i feel so tired and headachy but i don't want to die anymore and i'm scared but i can't tell my parents or anybody!!!
so can i do anything to make this all stop?
I take 60mg Prozac during the day, 3 mg Klonopin at night along with 30 mg Temazepam. That combination has worked great for both my mother and I. I also take anti seizure medication and pain management meds, but there are no negative interactions between any of them. Id give the Prozac a little while because it honestly is a Godsend. I was also prescribed Paxil 20mg, but am not planning on taking it, because the others are working fine.
Yeah, how old is she? And you really need to get informed about these drugs. Skipping doses can cause withdrawal, although this is less likely with Prozac than other ssris because it stays in the body much longer. When someone skips a dose, you just take the next dose -- doubling up can cause side effects. Prozac is one of the more stimulating ssris, and these drugs can cause odd thoughts especially in the young.
i stoped this drug for 2 months and yesterday i decided to take it but the last prescription the pharmacy made each tablet 100 mg. and i forgot thinking it was only 25 mg and yesterday i took 2 tablets of 100 mg ( 200mg) thnking they were both only 50 mg. yesterday i didn't sleep as my legs started shaking and kicking all nights , my heart beats so fast, and i feel nausious and dizzy. now i'm still feeling the same and a little bit of fever.
I took a 30 mg tablet of Tylenol 3 and 2 naproxens 500 mg each. About an hour later I took 4 more 500mg naproxen, an hour after that 4 more. I wasn't thinking of anything other than stopping the pain. About an hour after that I took an adult sized dosage of Nyquil. I awoke Monday morning with a sharp pain in my upper abdomen. The pain comes and goes but stays longer each time it "hits".
I have been taking 10mg of lexipro four three years.My medical dr. prescribed 20 mg of lexipro. My anxiety sent me back to my pyciatrist. He said to stay on the 10mg because I had too much anxiety about taking the 20. Anyway I accidently took a 20 mg tablet this morning. My dr is out today. But the receptionist told me to go back to 10 mg tomorrow. So I wondered if this was safe? I should add that I have health anxiety..
my dr upped my prozac from 20 mg to 40 mg...he was so surprised when i told him i have to take it at night because if i take it during the day im so sleepy..he said im the first patient to tell him that,,he said prozac is the most stimulating antidepressant out there..i told him i do have a bit more energy but i have to take it at night,,,anyone ellse have this..and how long will i have to adjust to getting used to the 40 mg..was on 20 mg 2 weeks...so hoping this works...
I was taking 40 mg prozac, 60 mg dexedrine, and taking xanex as needed. I just changed the prozac to 150 mg effexor, because my Insurance co. wouldn't let me continue getting brand name prozac (the generic brand didn't work the same. I had no problem changing over to effexor, no withdrawal effects from prozac. What made you get off the meds? That's wonderful you are no longer depressed. I don't think I will ever get off the anti-depressants.
I was diagnosed with OCD when I was 9. I have been on Prozac, Paxil, Lexapro and now Citalopram for 16 years. At this point the citalopram doesn't seem to be working anymore. I have increased my dosage to 80mg a day and have added xanax about .5 mg 2 to 3 times a day about 1 month ago. I am very depressed and I'm worried about forgetting things. I'm worried about getting alheizmers disease. I need to go to see a neurologist and have some tests done.
Hi, I'm new here. Took Prozac for 7 weeks for depression. 1st two weeks on 10 mg, 2nd two weeks on 20 mg. was so jittery doc put me back on 10 mg. for the next 3 weeks. Jitters never stopped so I was switched to Zoloft the next day. Started at 25 mg for a week. Jitters seem to be fading with the Prozac leaving my system. The 2nd week I was raised to 50 mg. jitters are back!!! Thought I might try to ride it out for a week or so, but maybe these are not for me????
recently found out my problem it thyroid and hormones.Anyways im going off prozac and Im down to 10 mg and 150 mg wellbutrin sr 2 times a day.after a few weeks of cutting ftom 2 prozac i feel funny so i go back to 2,my dr wants me to instead of going back to 2 proxac to up my wellbutrin to 2 150 mg in am and 1 in pm..which makes 450 mg/she said it is abit over normal amount of wellbutrin sr..
I believe 4000 mg is the maxium dose you should take in 24 hours and half that if you are a drinker (appox 2 alcholic drinks per day would classify as that).

I got a new dr and he says i am depressed and put me on 20 mg of Prozac...as some of u know i have had problems for some time..well today is my 4th day on the prozac and he also had me stop my ativan and put me on a high dose of xanx 6 mgs....but im not taking that much he ssiad i could play around with the xanx dose,,,but i feel kinda more depressed today and im so drowsy and dizzy and my walking is bad kinda feel like im in slow motion and just cant walk good cause of the dizziness.
I was having bad menstrual cramps and took too much Tylenol. I believe I took 6,000 mg in 24 hours. Now I'm looking on the internet and totally freaking myself out that I'm going to have liver failure. It's been 48 hours since my last dose. My stomach is queasy, but that could be because I'm so upset. Is 6,000 mg spread out over 24 hours enough to cause harm?
i have been on prozac since March 2010 mainly on 30 mg the last two weeks of June dr had me up it 10 mg a week i made it to 50 mg and went ans saw him..he took me off prozac.i was put on wellbutrin sr june 10 2010..the way he said taper seems to fast he said go down to 30 mg for 3 days and then 10 mg for ten days and stop..instead i went down 10 mg from 50 to 40 mg and going to try to go down 10 mg a week if iu have enough pills....
Been on prozac since March dr messed with dose till finally by late June i went to 50 mg...im also on wellbutrin,well weight gain and other problems dr said to cut back on prozac 10 mg a week,been doing that im down to 30 mg but i have bad depression like when i first began prozac,i was added a estrogen patch this past friday,i have no energy and im tired all the time..
My doctor recently started me on 40 mg of prozac a little over 2 weeks ago. I have taken numerous depression drugs in the past where my doc has started me on a very low dosage and worked me up to higher dosages but on prozac we went straight to 40 mg. I have been having headaches, nausua and dizziness. I thought these symptoms would fade away but I have had no luck. I'm beginning to wonder if this dosage is too high. I don't know anything about prozac....
