I have had rapid hearbeats and pvcs since I was 30 years old. I am now 43 and am having them again along with panic attacks. I have had an echo cardiogram and an ekg. Everything is fine so they say. The pvc's scare me to death and now I have developed terrible shakiness that usually starts in the mornings and subsides as the day goes by. I am conviced in my head that something horrible is wrong but cant seem to convince anyone else of this.

Hello. I am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I am 39 and have known I have very mild Mitral Valve Prolapse for years. It caused me NO problems whatsoever, then one day WHAM panic attacks and anxiety. Long story short, after several trips to the ER, cardiologists visits, Internal Medicine docs, psychiatrist. They all conclude Panic disorder/Anxiety. I have since learned that many times people with MVP are more prone to panic and anxiety.

I can start a fight so easy, n get so irritated and bItchy. I do avoid caffeine, and alcohol. But Geez, its been four months since I gave birth, n with breastfeeding thoughtid get a break. Nope!! I had been on citalopram which work great 4my anxiety and deppresion.im nw pregnant.1st i got told to stop cold turkey with the citalopram which i did but i start getting extreme anxiety after afew weeks.and dr put me on prozac which is ment to be less risky during pregnancy.ive been on it 4 2weeks now.ive seen no improvement and im scared it will harm baby.i have constant physical anxiety all day my heart races and my chest has this horrible feeling of dread.help! What can i do to ease this?

I have taken prozac off and on for 20 years. This last reason I started taking prozac was because my hubby was going to Iraq and I started my checking and worrying about him. He is back now and I have weened myself off again of prozac and I have this awful headache that wont go away. I have had the headache for 4 days now. yeah was on effexor and switched to prozac iv been off the effexor 16days now and today had a down day not had one of them for 3/4weeks. how long did ur diahrrea last iv had it for a few weeks now I thought it might have been a prozac side effect.

Hi, I am in my early 30's and I have been on 80mg Prozac to treat OCD for several years now. I work in Cosmetics/Skincare and I have a long-running pimple picking problem. When I was taking Prozac I didnt gain weight.Paxcel made me gain some though.

I am able to live with my attacks (which can get really bad at times) and I actually have a fear of taking meds. I think the only thing I will take is a child's dose of tylenol only when I have a fever or migrane. I have discovered that taking Vitamin B Complex capsules have helped reduce my stress and anxiety levels. Also, I still love taking Flinstone vitamins, on top of the vit B complex. I feel great when I don't miss out in taking one a day.

The Dr said this would go away once the prozac fully kicked in , but its been a month and nothing. I know the prozac is helping but i have ups and downs all day. If I sit at home by myself for an hr or two i will feel depression and or anxiety. I guess my question is..... do you think that I should request a higher mg of prozac (20) or keep giving the 10mg pills a try? I hate having to try so hard to not feel depressed.

Hi i'm on Prozac and trazodone if you start on a low dose of trazodone it shouldn't be an issue and there really is no interaction with trazodone and Prozac because I've been on trazodone and Prozac for years and I've never had a problem you just have to take it like maybe you're better off just taking half a tablet or something

Caffeine is a stimulant and can trigger hypomanic episodes in higher doses, some can't even have a cup of coffee or it will tip them over. I didn't realize i was starting to be a little too "up" at my group therapy, then I went out with a friend and had a second cup of coffee. Within 2 hours I was in a serious hypomanic state, including a couple of paranoid moments, which has never happened before. Scared the bejesus out of me.

First of all, you shouldn't just stop taking antidepressants without discussing it with your doctor. Fortunately, you weren't on the Prozac long enough and you were at a very low dose, so you didn't experience the nasty effects of going cold turkey off these types of meds. Prozac can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to reach "steady state" in your body. That is the point at which it will begin to help you.

I have been on and off prozac for 4 years and i now am experiencing heartburn. I take 20mg at night because it makes me dizzy but i dont get the heartburn until the afternoon the next day. I had some pretty severe arrhythmia 2010-2013, and I still get occasional episodes. I can tell you my symptoms are pretty similar to yours although I often feel it more between my shoulders blades, but also above the left breast. I have taken your great advice and am doing yoga and breathing exercises to deal with my mild anxiety instead. But heres my question to put my mind at ease. I took the prozac at 28 weeks for about a week. It wasnt right for me and I was too worried I was doing harm to the baby. After my 3 miscarriages last year I am always worried now.
