years ago i drank real beer with xanax every day and i mean alot of beer and nothing ever happened...

my dr told me i could have an occasional beer with my xxanax and prozac....i drink non alkie beer which is less than 0,5 percent alchol by volume....

i want my sex drive back but i dont want no seizures with or without beer...i will still be on the xanx and prozac and i guess the ritalin...of course i will ask my dr...they might add wellbitrin a couple days ..

hi, for the most part I do not think that the beer nullified the medication that is already in your system, but you also have to keep in mind that it also depends the amount of dosage you're on, and how long you've been taking it. Although most doctor's don't suggest you drink while on AD'S I also drink and i'm taking Prozac. I will however agree with you that the days after having fun and drinking copious amounts of alcohol can leave you feeling down and anxious.

does wellbutrin sr cause tingling of the body stopped prozac on the 10th of june and on the 15th i staerted tingling all over,alwso was switched from adderall to ritalin thought it might be the ritalin so i stopped it for awile,but the tingling is bad driving me nuts.

then it goes normal it scares me....my heart rate goes up cause im on adderall and my anxiety gets so bad and im on prozac..been on prozac two months and i cant tell it doing much neither is the adderall......im freaking bad today my legs are tingling i think i took a xanax during the night and forgot and took one when i got up at six..ikeep them by bed just laying there to take in case i need it..i know it wont hurt me but maybe thas why blood pressure was so low..

my fear o fliving is ruining my life and my dr says i have to do some of the things i enjoyed before getting so bad...and beer was one of them..he says im to relax and enjoy life any of you drink on your meds ot had your dr ok it?

Technically you shouldn't. But I will speak only from my own experience. I've been on Prozac and Xanax (a benzo), and now Lexapro and Xanax for about 4 years now, and I've had the occasional drink (or 2) with no problems at all. The only thing is that the meds make the alcohol more "effective." That is 1 drink will feel like 2 drinks. So definitely don't binge drink, but a glass of wine or a cocktail here and there is not likely to cause any problems.

My bf isn't usually that bad, but when he says junk like that it makes me want to go friggin ape on him. I'm so angry all the time that my chest always feels tight. I'm surprised I have teeth left because I grit them all the time now. I constantly have some kind of medical person calling me to inform me of something else I "need to do". I'm sick of it. Seriously.

With going through the anti-depressant merry-go -round myself i found Seroxat and Prozac to be less sensitive to alcohol when it was working, but it still did have a knock on negative effect the next few days after the "few beers". One's mental health has to be imperative but when temptation presents itself and when were obviously feeling better with oneselves it's hard to say no as you feel that indeed you deserve it.

have nolt drank in 2 1/2 years and i have missed it but i have been on either ativan or klonoppin..in march i got a new pashy and he put me on xaanx again and prozac and then adderall.i say him on thr 4th and he precribed for me to drink 2 beers a night,since i have been depressed about not being able to drink....says i will be fin as does my pharmmsit but im still scared...never drank with prozac or adderalll before..

I have been on narcodics now for over 4 months, daily but I am also on prozac, and prn xanax. I am weaning myself off of the prozac but I usually do so by taking a xanax, percocet or drinking. I am in avicious cycle...it really *****. I am so flippin tired on everything. I do not even feel like this is my life....

but when i was on ativan last year and first of this year i felt like i was dizzy and gonna fall and walked wierd now i have been on the xanax nad prozac for over a month i walk very slow and unsteady and my legs are week..

i notice the next day my heart rate is lower and so is my blood pressure..i drank for 8 years on xanax and depakote and alot and was fine..i enjoy the taste of beer dont want to get drunk...but i felt kinda tipsy last night for some reason...any one else have expeierence with drinking with meds?It still kinda scares me..

When I was taking Prozac I didnt gain weight.Paxcel made me gain some though.

I am able to live with my attacks (which can get really bad at times) and I actually have a fear of taking meds. I think the only thing I will take is a child's dose of tylenol only when I have a fever or migrane. I have discovered that taking Vitamin B Complex capsules have helped reduce my stress and anxiety levels. Also, I still love taking Flinstone vitamins, on top of the vit B complex. I feel great when I don't miss out in taking one a day.

The Dr said this would go away once the prozac fully kicked in , but its been a month and nothing. I know the prozac is helping but i have ups and downs all day. If I sit at home by myself for an hr or two i will feel depression and or anxiety. I guess my question is..... do you think that I should request a higher mg of prozac (20) or keep giving the 10mg pills a try? I hate having to try so hard to not feel depressed.

Hi i'm on Prozac and trazodone if you start on a low dose of trazodone it shouldn't be an issue and there really is no interaction with trazodone and Prozac because I've been on trazodone and Prozac for years and I've never had a problem you just have to take it like maybe you're better off just taking half a tablet or something

First of all, you shouldn't just stop taking antidepressants without discussing it with your doctor. Fortunately, you weren't on the Prozac long enough and you were at a very low dose, so you didn't experience the nasty effects of going cold turkey off these types of meds. Prozac can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to reach "steady state" in your body. That is the point at which it will begin to help you.

I have been on and off prozac for 4 years and i now am experiencing heartburn. I take 20mg at night because it makes me dizzy but i dont get the heartburn until the afternoon the next day. I was wondering is it safe to take ranitidine 150mg effervescent? I took it all the time when needed before being back on prozac and it works i was wondering does it cause any side affect?

I have taken your great advice and am doing yoga and breathing exercises to deal with my mild anxiety instead. But heres my question to put my mind at ease. I took the prozac at 28 weeks for about a week. It wasnt right for me and I was too worried I was doing harm to the baby. After my 3 miscarriages last year I am always worried now.

got a new dr in may cause old one retired he had me try to up prozac and trouble with that so his asso. had me totally stop the prozac and go on wellbutrin sr 150am and pm,,,,after a week i was having prozac withdrawals so back on prozac i went and still on wellbutrin to be honest i dont know if my depression is something else cause neither brought me up or were stimulating..my new dt thinks i have slight add..anywayas i have been tapering off the prozac 10 mg a week per dr...

yesterday I went dr for anxiety and not sleeping at night. told her about my husband had been on Xanax for about 3 yrs and I have no in, so when my sleeplessness started , and anxiety I took one of his Xanax at times and some times I would have to take 2mg so she put me on 10 mg of prazac and 1mg of Xanax . my question is I scared to death of the anti-depressant because I have heard good people doing bad things on them I told her I was afraid of them but she insisted I take both.
