963249 tn?1247190497 yes there are side effects to any medication but there are also side effects when cholestorol isnt treated too ...and not very nice ones either. I have watched my father have mini stroke after mini stroke and its not pleasant to see the damage done by them. I too have also experienced a heart attack in 1994 ( I had warning signs 9 days prior that I ignored ) and I have no problems with blockages, high cholestorol etc. Mine was triggered by stress and kept me in hospital for 10 days.

Exercise also helps build muscle, but if you do the right ones, you won't "bulk up". I often use, both, Greek yogurt and protein powder in my smoothies. The yogurt gives you and extra amount of protein, plus calcium, vitamin B12, etc.

To much protein with cirrhosis is questionable so ask your doc if that's the case. One other thing I've noticed is to little sleep and feel like I'm in a fog, so rest up without guilt. Your doing great so hang in there.

Body builders use it to help repair muscles after a big work out. My Oncologist recommended it. I usually mixed it into orange juice. I couldn't tell a big difference, but I think it helped a little with the neuropathy....i.e. the tingly feeling. Is the 6th cycle going to be the last, or will she go on maintenance treatments?
