Avatar n tn If you want to get big like a bodybuilder, that will require unhealthy eating such as eating too much food and too much protein, but it does work to build more muscle mass. Too much protein is very hard on the kidneys and other parts of the body, and too much food is hard on the digestive system and the internal organs. No natural living human needs muscle mass for strength -- hunter gatherers are very strong, farmers are very strong, but they don't necessarily have big muscles.
Avatar f tn Are you really a female? 6'3" tall and only weigh 120 pounds? If all that is correct, you don't need to lose weight; you're already too thin. 750 calories is not nearly enough food and you can't maintain that; your body will start holding onto what little bit of fat you have, in order to protect itself.

Avatar n tn Calories, while a part of it, isn't the main factor in weight. How well and how quickly you metabolize what you eat and how much activity you engage in are more important. Counting calories doesn't really do you much good in the long-term if those calories are, say, in the form of foods that metabolize quickly into sugar -- if not burned off quickly they will store as fat.
