i know whats wrong,the prilosec is causing it! the food you eat ferments in your stomache and causes the egg burps,and diahrrrea and throwing up! i had this problem for a long time,until i quit taking prilosec. once i stopped taking it, it never happened again. and other acid reducers can cause it as well!

As a precaustion my doctor gave me a 10 day round of meds for systemic yeast. I also had a cat scan and that was normal. I went to an allergist who is having me tested for food allergies and suggested I take h1 as well as h2 antihistamines. He suggested I might have Eosinophilic Esophagitis which is an inflamed esophagus due to an allergic reaction. Bacterial Vaginosis while pregnant - took Flagal. Cleared it up. Then got a yeast infection, which I used Monistat for. It cleared up as well.
3. Had a bad cough in November - was given an antibiotic (can't remember which), cleared it up, but I had a late term miscarriage right afterward. Still had the bad cough a few weeks later, was given Azythromax. It cleared up the cough a bit.
4. Still had a slight cough beginning of January. Have an awful taste in mouth when coughing.
And stomach aches, bloating, and have been nauseated. I went to my doctor thinking it was yeast from what I read or a chronic sinus infection and since I have been getting sick so much lately I even pondered on it being HIV.
My doctor took a look at my throat and said it looked irritated and did give me amoxicillon incase there was any bacterial infection, I have been on it for 6 days now. I also have an extremely dry mouth and a white tongue that tingles sometimes (gum seems to help a bit). I have this dull pain in the middle of my breastbone that makes my chest feel really heavy. When I walk up the stairs to my apartment or do anything remotely active II feel like my heart is going to pound of my chest.
I'm a 39 year old microbiology student who recently had a lab in which we tested our saliva. The tubes were incubated for 3 days and I did a gram stain on the growth, expecting to find lactobacillus or other resident bacteria. However, what I found was only yeast, probably Candida (but we're still testing to be sure) and a few cells. Nothing else. I haven't been taking antibiotics lately.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? Or if it could be from a yeast infection? I have an appointment tomorrow but it's really worrying me and I was just looking for some answers.
If it does not help then go back and ask if you should have more testing to see if this is really the cause of your cramps and possibly get another stool sample. If its positive you could try other drugs to help. Prilosec reduces stomach acid and can cause yeast to grow so not sure why he prescribed that unless he thought your cramps are coming from gerd or heartburn.
I had switched to a birth control called the nuvaring which i dont recommend by the way, and all of the sudden i start feeling nauseaous after eating, so i finally get back on Yaz, I still feel nauseaous after eating and now i have a discharge that looks like a yeast infection but i have no other symptoms of a yeast infection. I am really confused. Please help!!
Hi there. Well, could be a yeast infection/overgrowth, yes. If you have never been diagnosed for a yeast infection, I would go the first time to your doctor to confirm. They'll help you treat it then and give you ideas why it is happening related to your period. So, yes, I'd see your doctor at this point.
Let your OB know because many times its hard to tell the difference between bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection.
Have you tried an over the counter vaginal yeast treatment? Some yeast are resistant to these as they all have fluconazole in them. The yeast are getting used to the anti-fungals that have azole at the end of their name. But it can also be Bacterial vaginosis (BV). You should get tested to find out if it is a yeast and if it is resistant and also have the laboratory check for bacterial vaginosis. Could you have a STD? If you would need to get tested for those.
See a doctor it could be a STD the symptoms from a yeast infection are the same as some STD I thought.
Looked down and the head of my penis was covered with this white cottage cheese like and it had a strong oder. Got scared went to the doc he said it was yeast infection well almost on my 4th week and it seems to have subsided atleast thats what im hoping for. Yesterday on the head of my penis their was this patch of skinlike thing and I was able to take it of.

After a female touched her vagina then touched my penis and have me a hand job I had a bit of redness and dry cracked lines on the tip of my penis. I went to the doctor and they said it seems like I have a yeast infection so they gave me canistan cream and I've been using this for weeks now and the symptoms are not going away. Does anyone know why? Is it true that some yeast infections may need antibiotics if the cream are not working? Would be grateful if someone could help me. Thanks!
Is it ok to use over the counter meds for ueast infection, while pregnant? 19 weeks and pretty sure i have yeast infection. No opening with clinic until tomorrow. I've only had one other inflection last year but wasn't pregnant.
