ve been through some pretty stressful things including having serotonin syndrome from a rare drug interaction between lexapro and Prilosec. I thought I was going to die. Since than my anxiety has been 100 and they had me start taking 3 .5 Xanax a day and it wasnt working. So my doctor suggested Klonopin. I took it yesterday all day and than had insomnia all night and don't know if my body is going through withdrawals from no Xanax. I was steady 3 times a day for about three months.

It is easy to find information regarding drug-drug interactions for omeprazole (Prilosec) and atorvastatin (Lipitor). The omeprazole appears to increase the bioavailability of the statin, increasing the risk of side effects. Does this mean that the interaction is like taking a higher dose of the statin, which would provide benefit for someone like me who only takes a low dose (10mg atorvastatin daily) and has no statin tolerance issues?

i am currently on 60 mgs of methadone a day and 1.5 mgs of klonopin, trying to wean down to nothing. i was at 4mgs of klonopin a day and 4 mgs of lorazepam a night. now im down to 1.5 mgs of clonazepama dn 23mgs of lorazepam. i dont ever have any problems with the two but i personally know ppl who have died from benzo and methadone combos.

t seem to help her and our GI switched her to prilosec. My daughter has had no complaints with the prilosec. Both prevacid and prilosec have the same actions so they do the same things. The only interaction that I know of with prevacid and penicillin is with a type of penicillin called Ampicillin and it may inhibit the absorption of the prevacid.

All drugs have unwanted effects as well as therapeutic ones and mixing drugs will almost always carry a possibility of interaction. However, if this interaction is rare, your prescriber has presumably decided that the benefits of you taking Klonopin outweigh the risks. Yet again, you need to discuss this with your doctor. hi i take prilosec 20 mg a day i took it about 4 to 5 hours ago and im also prescribed klonopin .5 as needed i wanted to know if i wanted to take klonopin now would it be safe to take it ?

I mainly have the constipation now...as i eat more fiber. I am taking prilosec, temazepam for sleep if needed, and belladona-phenobarbit, for gas amd cramping, which i am affraid to take. So i don't take it unless really needed. I get alot of acid buildup but am trying to drink decaf coffee only. I have had slip ups. I try to take a tylenol for sleep and my klonopin at night. .1mg at night of klonopin and .5 in am's. I was asked to ask you your input in these medicines.

Thank you for the info, I had no idea. I just took .25 mg last night. I woke up at around 4am with nuasea and a slight burning sensation on my arms and face. I am pretty sure I know what caused the nuasea, but the burning sensation? I have read the side affects and of course none of which I am experiencing are on the list. I at times also have a pounding heart (not sure if you consider it racing), and I know that a racing heart can be a serious side effect of klonopin.

Hi, I was on gabapentin and was on a PPI called Prilosec. If in doubt u should talk to ur Dr or pharmacist as they r better suited to inform u on drug interactions. They may inform u to take at diff times and what to avoid to help the meds aid u..... Did u develop the reflux once u started with the gabapentin or did u have it b4?

The insomnia from the prozac is crazy. I have a prescription for trazadone but do not want to take because of the interaction with the prozac. Ive been reading about melatonin. Has anyone tried taking it for sleep? Did it help? And will the insomnia from prozac get better and how long would that take?

I have read a lot about the interaction between Plavix and PPI’s but he thinks only Omeprazole have more effect on Plavix, not Pantoprazole. Please, let me know what your opinion is and have you heard about any interaction between those two? I don’t need an additional heart attack.

drug of benzo family can be used to control seizures, especially Klonopin. and Klonopin can be used for any type of epilepsia, and it is safe to take Klonopin when you have to stop taking some antiepilepisa drugs for some reason. but I don't recommend you eat more than 3 types of antiepilepsia drug, because the interaction between these drug reduce their effects.

After doing a quick look, Zoloft is not listed as an interaction with Klonopin, so you may ask your Doc about trying a different anxiety med to avoid an interaction with your Zoloft, or switch the Zoloft to something that works with the Ativan if the Ativan works well for your Anxiety.
