prilosec

Flomax, morphine, Phenergan, lorazepam, ibuprofen, Prilosec, and doxycycline if you want to read up on them individually. If you are thinking of suing over it, I do not think you will have a case , especially if there is no long-term damage. Doctors attempted to treat you for your problem with appropriate medications, and on top of it you medicated yourself. When side effects happen, you get treatment like you did.
I was prescribed Prilosec and diagnosed with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) because the Prilosec worked. I take the Prilosec religiously and it helped for a long time. I was able to eat better, the episodes have been greatly reduced, and I gained about 5 lbs. My long distance boyfriend came to visit the week before last. My stomach flared up due to nerves and I was sick the whole day before picking him up from the airport.
Take Prilosec OTC for heartburn. This is my 2nd post, 1st post recommended seeing cardiologist and hematologist, which I intend on doing. Any other suggestions?

Meanwhile, you should probably eliminate any gastro irritants and reflux triggers such as coffee, chocolate, citrus fruits/juices and tomatoe sauce. Raising your the head of your bed 12" at night and wearing loose fitting clothing -- especially around the waist -- might also help. I had a big problem with nausea early on but it disappeared later in treatment. It's an awful side effect and I really feel for you.
The dizziness resembled being carsick, with lightheadedness and occasional moments of nausea and feeling faint (but I never passed out). I had a CAT scan and blood work twice, and so far no diagnosis for the dizziness/fatigue. It got better for a few weeks but last week I began to have dizzy spells again, this time accompanied by maxillary sinus pressure. I had just switched allergy medications, from Nasonex to generic Flonase, right at the time my symptoms returned.

It is not life-threatening, certainly, but very painful. I refused the prescription for Prilosec and went the complementary route, and can now report that the situation is finally behind me. Stomach and intestinal lining was pretty badly inflamed--looked like a bad case of measles--which I definitely attribute to all those months of ribavirin. Then there is the neuropathy in my feet, which first presented 6 months into tx and is still resolving itself, three years later.
While he was giving it to me I immediately felt an extreme rush of heat (head rush?) and felt naseous and dizzy and near faint. Then I started shivering!! The hooked me up to a heart monitor and my pulse registered at 132. The nurse went out of the room and told me it was anxiety and gave me a shot of Lorazepam. I now know that anxiety is not my problem, it was an arrythmia. It seems like my heart has become ultra sensitive.
I also have chest pain, leg pain although I think it is due to a medication I am taking, and a little sob still. Check the side effects of Lorazepam and see if this might be causing your chest pain. I am (to be on the safe side) seeing a rhumatologist to get my ANA levels checked to rule out an autoimmune disease. Maybe your doctor can do the same, because muscle pain and sob is a symptom.
Clonidine, Metoprolol, Pravastatin, Lorazepam, Prilosec and Prednisone and Methimazole. Please respond if you have had adverse effects from such a small amount of alcohol with these drugs.
The only medications prescribed so far for these symptoms include muscle relaxers (methocarbamol), pain pills (hydrocodone), tranquilizers (lorazepam), and cotazym for his pancreas (which he is no longer taking). None of these drugs have had any effect or prevented the recurence of attacks.
I was all MANIC for like 2 weeks and it was fun but then it was painful and begged for the opposite way and now I have this and it ***** to be Depressed...All I think about is killing myself or doing some self-harm.... God in heaven, what was it I've done in my entire life that warrants this torture? Far less moral/ethical people than I live better, healthier, richer and fulfilling lives than I do. Why?
All tests showed no problems. With the help of the occasional lorazepam and a job change the anxiety problems and almost all symptoms disappeared. Only the swallowing issue remained. An ENT looked down my throat and saw nothing except a slightly irritated throat. He prescribed an OTC Prilosec. My General suggested the tightness might be due to a slightly enlarged lyph node, though he could feel nothing in my neck.
In the last 1-1/2 years however, it has become almost unmanageable, so as my Dr continued to try to get me out of this pain, I found myself going through the list of narcotics until I ended up on 100mg of Fentanyl every two days, and taking Norcos two at a time!!!!!!!! My life as I knew it is gone now, and I just want it back so I decided I was going to taper myself down off the Fentanyl and am now on my last 25mg patch, but taking more and more Norcos!!!!!!!!

The patient recovered in 2 hours after receiving prochlorperazine and lorazepam in the emergency department. Venlafaxine was discontinued, and she was discharged home. Two weeks later, the patient started to receive fluoxetine 20 mg/d and reported no adverse adverse effects during follow-up clinic visits. DISCUSSION: The clinical manifestations of this case meet Sternbach's criteria of serotonin syndrome.
She also complained of nausea and constipation along with all the symptoms before mentioned so he changed her antibiotic from Bactrim to Avelox 400mg, gave her Prilosec OTC, wrote her a prescription for compozine, and told her to take Miralax for constipation. She took the Miralax and a prilosec yesterday but decided to wait and start the Avelox today. Compozine was not taken due to listed side effects. She awoke at 12:30am shaky, weak, nauseated, and had dry heaves.
This morning I had the Big D four times in 30 minutes and it was just like days 2 and 3 when it was really bad. It was JUST like day 2 and 3...even with the yellow "foam" coming out. Sorry to be so descriptive. Any thoughts on this? Nausea, too...more than I've had on any other day. There are a few things I'm thinking here that could cause this. 1) I quit the tramadol (was on 1 to 4 a day for two weeks) on Wednesday.
This went on for two weeks and I started taking Prilosec. The physical symptoms weren't so bad, but I started worrying about what I had because it wasn't leaving. I spent hours on the internet and I worried I had stomach cancer at the age of 17! It took two months before I could see the doctor. I found out that doctors are not as helpful on television. The guy told me to keep taking Prilosec and he was more worried about two warts on my left big toe.
The black box warning on proton pump inhibitors including prilosec (omeprazole) is magnesium deficiency. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency are numerous and include heart rhythm problems, shortness of breath (cannot breath in enough air no matter how hard you breath in) and lump in throat/gagging issues/difficulty in swallowing. There may or may not be a connection in your case but Ativan/lorazepam are hard to get off and the withdrawls or tolerance side effects can be tough. And we all know our stomach is on our left side right under our hearts so thats why alot of people who go to the ER thinking there having heart attacks are having Gerd/gastro/espho pains or problems. I had an attack last week so bad I thought for sure I was having a heart attack and they ran all kinds of tests and figured out it was my stomach.
I have also taken Avelox, Ru-Tuss, Prednisone, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Lortab, Amoxicillin, Ambien and Lunesta. Currently I take Prilosec everyday (since 14 for acid reflux disease), 20 mg of Ambien to sleep or Chloral Hydrate to sleep. I was started on Hydrocortisone and worked up over 17 days to 20 mcg, while taking 5 mcg of Cytomel. Doctor placed me on Paxil and I had a bad reaction so they stopped everything.
As were ECG, Blood enzymes etc. Had had arm and jaw pain prior. Feb - still having some pains, treated with prilosec for several months which led to stomach problems (and testing). Negative, quit the prilosec in April, stomach got better. Been on Xanax off and on for anxiety. .5 mg XR, was on it for 4 months with no real change that I noticed. Weened off of it. I've tried zoloft and at 2 weeks when I ramped up the dose my anxiety DID go through the roof.
Unsure what else to do, went to Stevens Hospital and admitted to ER as the anxiety was getting out of control. ER doc provided lorazepam, which seemed helpful until the evening. First dose was at 115pm, took evening dose at 930pm just prior to bed. Unable to shake feeling in legs that they needed to be moved. Got out of bed at 1030 and paced downstairs where the futon is so that I could try to sleep later. Unable to sleep entire night.
I had an upper GI and a sigmoid done. Results were gastritis, and stay on the Prilosec. Along with these symptoms, I had shaking of the stomach, very nervous, when hungry, I almost would pass out, and my stomach would get very shaky, dizziness, very dry in the mouth, eyes, and a burning sensation in the chest cavity, now mostly in the lower abdomen, and R L quadrant. Hair growth on the chin area, where I never had any hairs.I have been having constipation problems, since the beginning.
I'm still getting chest pains, mainly shooting in nature, bi-lateral, but occasionally dead center and it's pressure. 1. They did a nuclear stress echo with exercise, said everything looked normal. EF 60%. How often do false negatives show up? 2. I'm belching constantly. Many times it relieves the dead center chest pain. However the upper chest shooting pains come and go. Should this belching help ease my mind this is not caridac? 3.
Klonopin Lamictal "Seasonal" Wellbutrin "Rescue" Seraquel Prilosec And I should be on SEVERAL recommended supplements but I'm not. I just don't know why I don't take those as RELIGIOUSLY as I do my meds...
Fortunately I was able to get some Armour again, and in just two days of a good dose of Armour my acid reflux was gone, as a result of getting some additional T3 into my system and raising my FT3 level. I even quit taking Prilosec for a few days and still had no problem.
These are often prescribed for runners, sports injuries to joints, and those suffering from arthritis. Syva labs has recently reworked its Cannabinoid test and claims to have eliminated this problem.
