I discovered that my father has a hiatal hernia with palpitations only at night after laying flat on his bed. He take Prilosec as well and eats whatever he wants. I have anxiety about pills and swallowing them so I'm trying to get use to that.
I know sounds pitiful. Yes Xanax (alpazolam) is as addictive as Klonopin. Both of these are also big time antispasmotic muscle drugs.
I have been prescribed omeprazole 20 mg daily, Miralax, Citrucel, Klonopin .5 mg daily (anxiety) and 1/2 a Lortab 5/500 (due to painful abdominal cramps 24/7). The SIBO was recently diagnosed a month ago by HBT (positive fructose intolerance) and small bowel series showed rapid transit. I was put on Xiafaxan 550 mg b.i.d. for a 10 day course. I began to put the weight back on I had lost which was 12 lbs.
ve been through some pretty stressful things including having serotonin syndrome from a rare drug interaction between lexapro and Prilosec. I thought I was going to die. Since than my anxiety has been 100 and they had me start taking 3 .5 Xanax a day and it wasnt working. So my doctor suggested Klonopin. I took it yesterday all day and than had insomnia all night and don't know if my body is going through withdrawals from no Xanax. I was steady 3 times a day for about three months.
Heck I have never even taken a drink of alcohol. I am 37, male. I take Cozaar and Mucinex D along with Klonopin and Remeron and a vitamin (I was low on Vitamin D so they have me taking that). I take Advair for asthma and it works well for that. I eat a normal diet, rarely eat fast food. I have tried stopping milk but made no difference. Any other ideas?
t see it. I am also taking prilosec and gaviscon for stomach problems and I seem to have my heart palpitations under control with my stomach getting better. ( i believe they were gerd related) Perhaps the prilosec is causing my heartrate to go up. perhaps it is causing me to work through my synthroid faster? What do you all think?
This morning i woke early with it..came here and read the message boards and have calmed down some after taking a 0.5 mg klonopin whichIi take routinely morning and night. Its gotten so I fear the fear itself..Need some help here and seems to be a lot of fellow sufferers..Right now it's just a generalized mild tightness in my chest but usually located directly under sternum..

I also am having some intense,stabbing pain in the middle to upper abdomen and on a scale 1 to 10, I would say it is about a 8 or so, happens 20 times or so a day I also get a burning sensation off and on in the middle of abdomen..
I've had occassional PVC's for 20 plus years. I also have Mitral Valve Prolaps. About 2 months ago I started taking Prilosec for reflux. I then began to have a huge increase in the number of PVC's. Sometimes lasting all day. I've been on an event monitor for the past 2 weeks. I didn't even think that to relate this increase in PVC's to the Prilosec until about a week ago.
ve had 3 docs prescribe prevacid and prilosec and one who said its bad to have any. I miscarried when I wasnt on anything and the babies I've had are all fine despite the prilosec. Some docs are more cautious. My doc now is a high risk ob/gyn with experience in fetal development issues and he says its fine. Talk to your doc or a different one...its not good to be so miserable you can't eat...for you or baby.
I have been having some GI issues for almost 2 months now and was first diagnosed with Gastritis. For the Gastritis I was given 15 days worth of Prilosec. While on the Prilosec (and before) I had diarrhea and loose stools every day. Being as I was having that before, I never attributed it to the Prilosec but now I'm questioning whether or not the Prilosec contributed to the loose bowel movements as I am now back on Prilosec and am having loose stools once again.
Daily morning vomiting, anxiety, lost nearly thirty pounds in a month. I went on Paxil and Klonopin and the vomiting stopped. Stomach issues were still there, but I stopped losing weight and vomiting. However, I think taking all the med on a distressed stomach may have injured it more. I now have unbearable stomach pain at night and nausea in the morning. I have been up four hours with the pain.
My doctor diagnosed me almost a year ago with "the worst case of acid reflux [she'd] ever seen." Literally, I would drink a glass of water and get reflux issues. I was put on Nexium for a long time, and I have since switched to Prilosec OTC because I ran out of health insurance. It's been about five days on Prilosec but I keep feeling nauseous in the morning after I take it, but it's nothing too bad and it goes away fairly quickly.
No spicy foods, not eating anyting real solid 3 to 4 hours before sleeping except maybe a popcile. Trying to lose weight and exercise and trying to lay off the caffeine and carbonated bevereges(which is extremly hard for me but Im doing it.) I havent been able to nail an actual flare up food, it seems I'm nausous off and on all the time.
t seem to help her and our GI switched her to prilosec. My daughter has had no complaints with the prilosec. Both prevacid and prilosec have the same actions so they do the same things. The only interaction that I know of with prevacid and penicillin is with a type of penicillin called Ampicillin and it may inhibit the absorption of the prevacid.
pylori and now developed GERD and Acid Reflux because of the long term use of prilosec.. I cannot stop taking the prilosec because the acid and chest pain come back times a million, and i cant eat really anything anymore.. I did not have any problems with acid or chest pains or not being able to eat until i started taking the prilosec.. I really think that if i wasnt having any symptoms then why give someone some for symptoms there not having, just to make them worse in the end..
