prickly heat rash treatment

from what i could make of it it was just prickly heat but I have tried all the suggested treatments for prickly heat and it still has not gone away. has been about 7 weeks since i first noticed it. any suggestions as to what this may be or how to more suitably treat it?

In all my internet searches I read that heat rash or prickly heat was caused when the sweat ducts got clogged or compressed not allowing the sweat to evaporate and seep into the skin causing redness ? I am confused ?

Does Prickly Heat rash form whiteheads, I woke up this morning with a rash on my upper chest (above pecs) and upper back (triangle between neck and shoulder blades). The chest is just red bumps the back on the other hand is quite raised and has hundreds (not kidding) of whiteheads, it is not terribly itchy but I definitely can tell something is going on back there. Baking soda/powder baths or you can put baking soda/powder or corn starch on the rash it will suck out the heat. I get prickly heat rash every summer and the cool bath with baking soda helps tremendously. Good luck I know it *****!

As you originally stated - it just may be Miliaria/Prickly Heat/Sweat rash.. If the small papules are on your back, they may be flesh colored and unnoticable. Prickly heat can be mild to severe. I get this sometimes when the water is too hot. Have someone look at your back after you have gotten out of the shower.

Turns out to be prickly heat rash, day three and starting to fade. She had a heat rash, we worked up a real sweat, and heat rash is now confirmed another STD. It sounds to me (I'm not a doctor) that the rosacea-like rash on your face could have been a "butterfly" rash which is a classic symptom of Lupus. Sounds like prickly heat. I think this tends to be more of a problem with fair skin. The only treatment I know of is to keep cool and dry, so be careful not to overdress. A very annoying problem. Look it up on the internet.
