Does Prickly Heat rash form whiteheads, I woke up this morning with a rash on my upper chest (above pecs) and upper back (triangle between neck and shoulder blades). The chest is just red bumps the back on the other hand is quite raised and has hundreds (not kidding) of whiteheads, it is not terribly itchy but I definitely can tell something is going on back there.
I presume it is Prickly Heat as I moved to S.

Prickly heat (miliaria) is an itchy skin rash caused by trapped sweat. It tends to occur on areas of the body where skin touches skin, such as under the breasts, on the inner thighs, and under the arms. Tiny red spots with itching and pricking sensation are the characteristic appearance of this rash.

As you originally stated - it just may be Miliaria/Prickly Heat/Sweat rash.. If the small papules are on your back, they may be flesh colored and unnoticable. Prickly heat can be mild to severe. I get this sometimes when the water is too hot. Have someone look at your back after you have gotten out of the shower.

ve always used this powder call Caldesene, its in a pink bottle and you can find it in any CVS or Walgreens. It is so good it formulated to keep moisture away from their skin. You can use it on prickly heat too. I'm so accustomed to it I've used it on my 2 year old from birth and will probably use it on the new baby. If they are having active Diaper rash, A&D ointment has always worked for me. I hope this will be helpful even though its a month late.
Turns out to be prickly heat rash, day three and starting to fade. She had a heat rash, we worked up a real sweat, and heat rash is now confirmed another STD. Although this wasn't to bad a price to pay for the time spent. All other situations considered.

Crohn's disease is an autoimmune syndrome. Sometimes autoimmune syndromes can come in pairs or groups. It sounds to me (I'm not a doctor) that the rosacea-like rash on your face could have been a "butterfly" rash which is a classic symptom of Lupus. The rash can be widespread and gets worse in sunlight. I suggest you make an appointment with your gp and bring up the possibility of Lupus. Good luck, Friend.

Thx - I have no signs of rash on my scrotum area - it is just feeling very uncomfortable and irritated for some reason. Looks completely normal besides that. Can heat rash like you describe lead to scrotum sensitivity too?
I was told when I got my last STD testing done that I'd for sure test positive for HSV since I get cold sores - so they said no point.
Hi All, I seem to have developed some kind of heat or sun rash that i experience every time i go overseas. It normally appears within 15 minutes of exposure to sun. I've tried all different types of sunscreens that are meant to be very friendly with no luck. Once it's appeared pretty much nothing will calm it down including air con, antihystamines or steroid creams (which i don't like using).
I have had no other sexual activity since this incident and have returned to the NHS clinic for a further 4th generation duo test after three months from exposure, this test was again negative. My sporadic prickly heat (intense burning) and rash to parts of my body and white tongue still persist.
My question is: are my symptoms possibly caused by HIV
are my two tests conclusive?
