I'm 17+ weeks and been having heart burn like every 20 mins, tums help me out alot but how much of it can I take? Will anything else help relieve heart burn?
Im 30 weeks and everything gives me heart burn even juice... the only thing that doesn't give me heart burn is water what can i do?
The gastro doc said I had mild gastritis and GERD (even tho I never have heartburn), he removed a benign nodule from my esophagus and said I had diverticuli that were not inflamed. About 2 weeks later I had severe chest pain and heart pounding. Went to ER and everything was OK. Then I started having PSVT (160 - 190 bpm)--once they were brought on by burping and once by bending over. These episodes became more frequent with runs of A-FIB. I have a terrible problem. I feel like I am about to kick the bucket. I have horrible arrythmias when I have the urge to defacate and when I attempt to defacate. I become very lightheaded, fain, sweaty, and my heart races out of control. Help me! I take a beta blocker, but it doesn't help. Can I do something about the vagus nerve to get rid of this problem?

m having pain on my left side that feels like an dull ache in my chest is this my heart on could it be because of my ulcer can the conditions get worse that i have and cause this pain.I stop smoking 10yrs ago.
My EKG was normal and my Dr could not detect any abnormal sounds from my heart. He told me to up my dosage of prevacid to 2 a day until the problem goes away.
So far (after 1.5 weeks) the symptoms have not improved and it is getting in the way of my exercise routine.
I would love any advice before I visit a specialist.
The Prevacid seemed to make the GERD much much worse, and now the Prevacid seems to be doing nothing at all.
I have terrible GERD. It affects me every day, all the time. What happens is, normally, my breath will be labored (being overweight doesn't exactly help the situation) my chest will feel very full, my heart will race for no reason at all during different times of the day. It flares up terrible after meals, even if they aren't heavy.
Does anyone know what I can take or use for heart burn or vomiting I can keep anything down including water the only think that I can eat and stays down are pickles I'm even getting dizzy I can't even be in the same room that my family is eating
s really bad and none of those help you can see if your doctor is ok with something like prevacid or prilosec.
My primary care doc says the vegas nerve runs alongside the heart and if it is irriatated, it can cause heart issues. Your pregnancy might be triggering your pvcs. I had terrible heartburn during pregnancy, as I was shortwaisted and there wasn't a lot of room with everything pushing up. I take Prevacid 30 mg. in the morning and it seems to quiet things down. The last time I was having problems, I had gone off the Prevacid.
My cardiologist tells me that my heart arrhythmias are triggered by the fact that I have GERD and a large hiatal hernia. My G.P. now wants me to see a surgeon about a procedure to repair the hernia and wrap part of the stomach thus preventing reflux. I have heard conflicting reports about the success of this type of surgery. I am 83 and have none of the classic GERD symptoms, just the arrhythmia.
I am a 32 year old male. I have been hospitalized twice in the past for artial fibrillation, but the condition is manageable with occasional episodes that only last for a couple of seconds. I have learned the "petend like your going to poop" technique and it usually works to slow my heart down and get it back into rhythm. As many with this condition, I've been told there is no reason for the episodes, but the frequency has been increasing lately.
i already had the test last month and doctor said there nothing wrong... they just let me to drink prevacid for 14 days... he want me to go back to have city scan... but im afraid im just waisting my time for all the test since they make everything and they dont see anything... (i had two different doctor check up before having all the test) and when im dont on my 14 days drinking prevacid its never been severe and not everyday pain. so i decided not to go back..
